It is Christmas Blakey I like to let people settle down and pull a cracker first I've actually been packaging since 6.30am today from the orders over the last few days. Would you believe that there were 16 orders on Christmas Day There would have been a lot more than that if your earlier threat of big discounts had come to fruition They all got sent out -- You MISSED the big sale

Would you believe that there were 16 orders on Christmas Day you would have had more if blakey hadn't been grounded pmsl. Hi tinkerbella & welcome

Hi tinkerbella and a warm welcome to the forum ...a good starter point would be to take a look here e-cigs explained this will give you some idea of whats available to you. personally as you smoke around 20/day i would probably go for a riva/ego but would also be tempted by the SD keyring as it comes with cartomisers which for me are alot less faff than atomiser/cartridges take a look around and ask all the questions you need

Being new here myself, and pretty new to vaping also, I'll leave your questions to the more experienced people here. But welcome to what's probably the most friendliest forum on the net!

Hello & welcome from me Tinkerbella. Nothing to add to the already great advice . . . but any questions do ask away, we all started out just as confuddled as you probably feel. I'm pretty much still confuddled with the technicalities of it all myself . . . but the shopping opportunities ecigs bring are not to be missed.

It probably all sounds very confusing, it would to me if I was new to it all anyway, certain words that may as well be in a foreign language and your head was already swimming. Hope it hasn't frightened you away. Slow and gentle steps are what's needed when you enter the world of vaping, one small step at a time.

Hi & Welcome Tinkerbella As you smoke 20+ NASTIES A DAY i WOULD ALSO RECOMMEND YOU GET FAIRLY HIGH NICOTINE strength liquid 20 mg to 36 mg nicotine strength. Lower strengths may leave you feeling deprived of nicotine. Also bear in mind that Vaping IS different to smoking and you may still get some withdrawl symptoms as your body gets used to not having some of the other nasty chemicals found in tobacco. (sorry, hit caps shift above)

Hi there Bella, sorry I'm late greeting you This SD Keyring kit is dinky and a better performer than any other cig-alike model - you would need 2 kits cos you need one to puff on while the other is charging: www.vapeescape.co.uk/search.asp?types=Basic+Vaping+Kits+%3E+SD+KeyRing+EcigOn the same site are Grizwald's Pick n Mix juices - for refilling your "cartomisers" and experimenting with flavours at the same time, and for simplified ordering. If you want a cigar-sized model, then the eGo or Riva recommended earlier is the way to go. Whatever you buy you will want juices for refilling, and if you go for eGo/Riva you'll need to buy cartomisers too. Let us know what you think so far - like what size you'd prefer - and we can go from there. Come back soooon

Hi folks Sorry for the delay in replying but I have been unwell since I first posted. Thank you all for the replies and the warm welcome I have been trawling through all the info and although it is still very alien to me, I 'think' I have narrowed it down to the type of kit I am interested in. I am looking at a choice between the Joye 510 or the Boge Innokin Mini 510-T. I have considered the Riva as mentioned on here but I prefer to have an automatic as my daughter has the manual with the button and I was not keen on it. I might not be doing it right but I found that I had to hold it with both hands in order to press the button and this seemed unatural to me as I only use one hand with a ciggy Anyway does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations as to which one of the two choices would be best (pros/cons etc). Sorry for being dim but this is a whole new experience for me and I really want to pack in the ciggys. Thank you

just to trow a spanner in the works i would be tempted by a couple of packs of the SD keyring... reasons are they are tiny but battery life will last at least 30% longer plus they are cartomisers which mean the atomiser and juice storage is in one unit.. you can of course use cartomisers on either of your other choices and folks often 'upgrade' to cartomisers from tanks and cartridges after a while dude to their ease of use and good value for money the Joye and the Innokin have very similar battery life but the way they hold juice are very different. the Joye uses a conventional atomiser and cartridge arrangement which works very well but require frequent topping up of juice. while the Innokin uses a tank which is very easy to fill pop in and go but for this convenience you loss a little flavour from the juice. all of the above use the 510 type connection so you can always try out different combos at any time to find the one that suits you dont forget to order a selection of sample juices and if you go for the SD keyring you may like to add a drip tip to make it more comfortable on your lips Jason may be able to give more specific advice on the models... keep asking questions you'll be vaping soon

Hi Tinkerbella Personally, if I was given a choice between the Joye 510, Innokin 510-T or 2 x SD KeyRings, I would take the SD KeyRings every time. That's not because they are the cheapest of the 3 options, but because they have the best battery life and using cartomisers will be the most economical in the long run. They are a new product, but early reports are very encouraging and I much prefer cartomisers over atomisers, both from a cost and consistency point of view. If the SD KeyRing wasn't an option, I would go for the Joye Kit, again because of the 220mAh Auto Batteries. But, I would add some cartomisers to eventually replace the atomisers and cartridges that come with the kits. If you need any more information, you can always ring me (the number is on the website)

Can't add any more to the brilliant advice given by Gordy & Jason. But just want to say sorry you have been ill Tinkerbella Thank you, I am feeling better than I was Well I have taken the plunge and placed my first order Thank you to everyone for all the advice, I finally decided on 2 x SD KeyRings along with spare cartomisers, 10ml of tobacco juice, a pick and mix selection of juices, a drip tip and a mains adapter I hope I managed to catch the deadline for posting today as my order didn't go in until about a minute to 3pm, mind you I had to ring the shop straight away to make a slight change as I had placed the order for spare low res cartomisers when I meant to order standard res Really looking forward to the kit arriving and I will keep you posted on how I get on and will probably be asking further questions Thanks again everyone
