Heyas peeps started my epipe couple days ago. Have just finished constructing the homemade switch. And guess what ............ It works Soldered the positive on the sprung 510 and then jerry rigged it all up outside like to test everything. Took a few good long draws hits nice and hard one very happy bunny lol. Now just got to re polish the brass and the solid silver battery contact. Then I can attempt cramming into pipe lol. Will pop some pics up later.

Not really an e-pipe fan, but love the way you are doing it, seriously youre putting in a lot of thought into the important little details, micro switch in a macro switch, making jigs, low res contacts etc. If you have not played with Sugru, it is good stuff for mounting internals and other thing for the one off mod maker in a shed man.

VapingBad thank you for the kind words. Had to re think what to use as switch cover as the Chinese think 18 mm is 15mm. Had a lovely swirled fire nebula cabochon chosen. Arrived and its totally wrong size lol 3 mm to small. Plan B will be in next PIC lol.

And here is finished button . I know the shape is not as round as it should be I buggered the grinding out from the main body by a smidge , which in turn ment a perfect circle didn't fit all because of a 1 mm difference lol. 16.5 mm x17.5mm. Still I ground it using a cordless drill lol so it could have been worse. If I was doing again i would drill with a big HSS bit unfortunately I need a pillar drill first icon_shoppingm

Thank you peeps ye I am pleased with how it turned out. Learned a hell of a lot. For a start I learned I need a decent soldering iron ( crappy tool station one) tip wouldn't even tin tip went black and stayed black no matter what I did to it. Hence I silver soldered what I could with blowlamp lol. Any suggestions Need to get a set of forstner bits as well as I drilled it with cordless drill and spade bit. And ideally a bench drill lol
