Hi all. Having got my Mrs to move to vaping over a year ago, we have learnt about the variety of things vaping related. She's had various batteries including the Vamo and more recently a Vision Spinner. However one thing that constantly lets her down is the cartomizers. She generally goes for the standard CE4/CE5 carts, but a lot of the time they leak! Can anyone offer any suggestions of an alternative type of cartomizer that would fit her batteries? In fact, we don't even know if all these different carts have different screw threads!! So any advice would be appreciated. We usually shop from Vapourbreak, and they seem to have a wide selection of carts. Can maybe someone suggest one off there? Thanks.

Everything leaks sometimes - but some as they say far more than others.
But CE4s/5s are the work of the devil and if your wife has moved beyond the basic ego battery now is the time to find a decent clearomiser.
I'd recommend an Aspire Mini Nautilus paired with a spinner - its glass, it tastes magnitudes of infinitum better than a CE4 and its a decently built bit of kit. Don't be put off by the starting price - the tank is a keeper and you just replace the coils.
Otherwise one of the Kanger bottom coil range would also work nicely- aerotank mini, EMOW or a Glass Evod would all sit nicely on a spinner. Pair one of these with a decent pre made micro coil from virtual vape or Nature Vape for best results.
The batteries you say she has have both ego and 510 threading so pretty much every tank/clearo/cartomiser out there will fit fine - the other threading types are largely the realm of branded cigarettealike these days

ok I will advise you gently, what you are looking for is a clearomiser not a cartomiser, but no worries we all got it all mixed up in the beginning.
The ce4/ce5 is kinda entry level, so there are lots of upgrades.
If you are wanting to keep it cheap and easy I would say - The ce4/5 is plastic with a tight draw, so an iclear 16 would be an improvement giving the same draw style and warm vape.
The evod is preferable for some, but that is a cool vape as it is a bottom coil. It is airy but has holes that can be blocked.
There is then the mini protank 2v2 which is cool vape, bottom replaceable coil airy but can be blocked.
I would give one of these a go, my preference would be the mini protank 2 as it is pyrex which gives a cleaner vape, but if you want the warm vape then really the iclear 16.
Not saying this is the best to buy from but take a look and get a feel,

There are loads of different options, but these are the next step up from where you are, and what I still use

I would heartily recommend the Aerotank as the next step up, I have NEVER had one of those leak yet Sorry for posting MORE myepack links, but they are one of the best UK suppliers (and I have never heard of VapourBreak, nor can I find a UK supplier of that name)

Q: Here you go mate... Vaporbreak. It's China. lol. We have just had a delivery of 930ml of RY4 & Virgin Tobacco e-liquid from here. Hangsen. I can recommend Vaporbreak. You have to wait for the delivery but that's okay with me. This last order should last my Mrs for a year and it cost me approx £100 including Fedex! As for the Aerotank, I will pass this info on to the Mrs. Thanks for that. dreamylittledream: Wow! Thanks for all that info. I like what you said about the 'work of the devil'. lol. About right I think. Janet's always got tissue handy on her desk cause of the leakage problems. I'm sure that any of your suggestions would help her no end. Cheers. Much appreciated. sammy13: Clearomizer? I get mixed up all the time. Seems that some websites say one thing and others say another. Don't take much to get me confused nowadays. Really appreciate your views on those you described. And thanks for the links too! I will bookmark those. Thanks all. Really great to have all your feedback on this. My Janet has been vaping now for a year and 8 months and I am really proud of her for dropping the smoking after 40+ years. I don't smoke or vape, but I want her to have the best so that she can enjoy her vaping experience. The leakage thing is the last thing to sort out. (for now. lol). Cheers!

Mainly use pro tank 2 myself, I get very little problems with them when fitted a decent coil.

jansnonsmokinghubby great you've got some fab advice from up to date forum members. (I'm not up to date and you don't want me near your missus' vamo. I will kill it LOL). Yeah there's a whole lot more to this vaping lark than the initial stuff. Are you sure you want your missus to have 'the best'? Cos the best is constantly changing and like always trying to get the best vape can lead to buying a lot of stuff otherwise known as 'shinyitis' (because a lot e-cigs are shiny)....sounds like we have a new condition Chrissie Perpetua - 'shinyitis by proxy' which looks like you might have jansnonsmokinghubby. Nip it in the bud now!!! Else your missus will be spending all your hard earned pennies on e-cigs LOL Just my random two pennyworth
