Is it just me but some days all my mods will leak and give no vapour. I can change batteries; rewick; change juice etc and still get no satisfaction. Tuesday I was desperate. Others days like yesterday and today I seem to be able to do anything and it all works. e.g. just randomly snipped off almost all the wick in my previously leaking Kayfun/Kato and there is no stopping it; flavour; vapour; long battery life etc everything cannot put it down. Built an edgy wick coil for my LUXE hybrid and that is 'smoking' as well i.e. no silica; no cotton wool; but mesh wrapped round 1mm of twisted wire with 16 wraps of .4 kanthal. Gorgeous. Smoking never worked like this.

I always have 1 atty set up that I never mess around with so I know I can always relay on it, the coils are probably 10 weeks old, maybe more *Oh the shame* But the rest I have good days and bad days, some days I'll have to constantly change my wicking out until I get it right. Also have days where it just doesn't hit the spot (usually when stressed) for which I keep some 36mg juice for a couple of drips, if I was a drinker it would be the equivalent to a neat scotch (double)

I always have some clearomisers I can stick on my old Provari and they always work. If I am honest I guess I was not quite that desperate.

I find that too.
And when it's a bad day, it's a really bad day. Few weeks back my only mod died. I had awful capers tongue and I dropped my protanks and smashed the glass.
It all goes wrong at once. Dodgy coils. Too much wick. Burnt taste. Crap juice. Vapers tongue. Mods deciding to just not bother working.
Thankfully for the most part the good vape days far outweigh the bad. And all it takes it a good coil with some lush juice and a cuppa and all the bad days are forgiven!

I don't do much fiddling so I have fewer bad days, but that said there are still times when stuff doesn't go right. Today was such a day - I got caught in the horrendous traffic coming home from shopping, I'd only nipped out quickly so had no spares with me and my atty had run dry. Then when I got home, atties that don't usually leak decided to slowly trickle out juice - I'm pretty sure I need to replace some o-rings.
To be honest, these days a few hours break from vaping is perfectly fine as I think my nicotine addiction is much reduced from my smoking days (but it is still there). The really difficult days are the (thankfully rare) ones where vaping doesn't feel satisfying - all my juices taste off or flavourless and I feel tetchy for nicotine.

Totally agree @jerri and that's the reason I keep a plumeveil with the same coils I've had for months now.. It just works and works well so when another atty goes tits up it's always there to fall back on. Be it an ego and a protank or a mech and a dripper, also have a backup.
Only thing worse then a bad vape day is when you don't realise you have ran out of juice until 10am on a Sunday morning and are totally screwed.
Thankfully now all the £1 shops and Nisa shops around here sell juice for those dreaded emergencies. I now keep a stockpile and keep it topped up regularly.
