Hello all of you Custard Lovechild lovers  . I want to make this and have all the ingredients ...............................except Vanillin  . Could I use anything else in place of that please? It is such a small percentage that is used and by the by what is Vanillin? Could I use Vanilla concentrate? If its a sweetener I have stevia, dulche de leche, ethyl maltol are any of these any good as a substitute? Thank you .................Sue |

There isn't really a substitute for Vanillin sue1952 . . . so I'd take Pepperty up on her kind offer.  It's only a teeny percentage, but it does make all the difference.  |
