Greetings from Finland, I am currently thinking of trying out e-cigs after 17 years of pack a day smoking and i got hinted to join this site by a online friend Have to say I am bit overwhelmed about all this after going through alot of different forums, so any and all advices are more than welcomed. I am thinking of getting this starter kit: www.puff.fi/kanger-emow-1300mah-musta-vvmodaloituspaketti-saadettava-374248v-p-1362.htmlIt is in Finnish, but hope you can understand the key points. Is that good enough to get started and not lose interest right away due bad equipment? I also get 15% discount to that store so the price would be tad lower. Also little unsure on liquids, mainly how strong ones i should be getting to make the switch from pack of red marlboro a day easier. 18mg / 24mg? thank you in advance!

Hello and mikkoDoes that kit come with 2 batteries? You need at least 2 so as you can use one as the other one charges. As for nicotine strength I would buy a bottle at 24mg and one at 18mg to see how you get on

hey and thanks.
that kit would be with 1 battery only, do the batteries run out of power that fast?
assuming ofcourse it debends how much you use it but charging during night wont cut it?

Greetings and to AAEC mikko The setup you have linked to is perfectly adequate to start you off, however I would strongly recommend that you get a second battery to use whilst one is charging. ( that way you will always have a vaping set up available to use.) 24mg is about right to start off, sufficient to keep you away from the stinkies. In time, you can if you wish reduce your nicotine level and start to conentrate on the many flavours available. Any other questions , just ask as there is always somebody about to help out.

Hello and mikko, looks like a good starter kit but I'd second Karma and get a second battery so you are not stuck when your charging your other one

Hi mikko and from me too... It's not advisable to charge the batteries unattended as they can pose a fire risk, so not charging overnight is one of vaping's 10 commandments It's always a good idea to have a second complete set up. If you mislay or drop your e-cig with no back up device, you then have nothing at all to use... the second vaping commandment is back ups for your back ups icon_shoppingm It can seem like a big outlay to begin with, but if Finland is anything like Sweden for prices, it will only be a week and you'll be saving money

Second all the good advice about a second battery. I only finally got off the smokes when I invested in back ups.

Heya mikko! Thanks for coming on over! The main reason for having 2 batts is so when it runs out you can have the other to hand. One of the keys to success, as many will say, is having good backups. If you are out all day and youre battery dies on you, it is very very easy to find yourself very quickly with a packet of ciggerettes in your hands! As far as juice, I think starting on the 24mg is a good way to go. You dont want to go too low and end up craving. If you dont have a physical shop nearby (to try out some juice flavours), this is a great place to order some cheap samples. and ofcs I can always send you some stuff to try out lastly... NEVER be afraid to ask any silly questions, there is always someone here who can answer anything that comes to mind without taking the mickey out of you for it (well not too much anyway!). best of luck mikko!

mikko - welcome to the forum, and well done for considering giving up the stinkies!! You've already received some good advice, and I would echo those who have said get a second battery; there's nothing worse than being without a vape while you wait for the damn' charger to work it's magic!! 24mg to start with, and maybe a bottle of 18 so that you can feel the difference for yourself. If one is too high and the other too low, get some same flavour of a lower nic level and mix the two to come up with something in between. Charge batteries while you are around, just in case of problems (although the vast majority of us have never experienced anything go wrong). Once you are set up and vaping, we can help you to get the best from your gear, and suggest better alternatives should you want to go in that direction. Most of all though, please don't hesitate to ask as many questions as you want, we have all been in your position and know how difficult it is to find good information - you've done the best thing and joined this forum where you will get all the support and advice you could wish for. Keep us posted on your progress

Hi and welcome
I know we are uping your budget here but get a spare "clearomisaattori" too, they can break/leak and although I can't read that language that set looks like it only comes with one.
You will be totally covered (backed up) then with no excuses to go and buy a pack of Marlboro
Good luck.
