Your call davetherayon but AW IMR's are recommended for Provari I'd rather put a vtc5 in a 20w device mate. Saying that though, 20w at .7ohms is the provaris limit which is about 6amps and well within the range of an AW IMR. Memory tells me that an AW IMR 200ma is about 10amps

I use aw IMR 18490's exclusively and battery life is outstanding in the P3

Whilst battery safety is ver very important... I think a 30A battery isn't required if its just for this.

**Dave's Provari P2, how it came to pass** I abused P2, I really did. Dropped it, took a screwdriver and hammered the top off it "to clean inside" more than once, then slammed the top back on with a lump hammer and a block of wood. Still it kept firing. It put up with attys left overnight on top leaking their willies (or lady bits... for female attys) all over it. Being cleaned by wiping it with a soggy facecloth. But eventually, all good things must pass, it popped its clogs. First it wouldn't fire, would go through the menus fine but nothing, and atty resistances were going up and down like one-oh. So I did the 'isoprop bath' thing. BAD BAD BAD IDEA. The iso must have melted the seal between the contact and the tiny wee bit of plag that sits on it, and try as I might I could not get it to work again - a couple of dabs of superglue to hold it on, no good. It just would not even start up. As a last resort, tried a large blob of silicone to replace the plastic piece, not a sossidge. So after about 2 years of plenty of use, P2 is Past. The P2 is dead, all hail the P3

But but but. How much power does all that intelligent processing take? Can't subohm your dick off (TM Vaping Bogan) if the watts are being et by ICs!
(I jest, I know that modern integrated circuits consume tiny milliamps of precioussss power.)

I have no idea but what I can say is the same battery lasts longer in the P3 than it does in the 2.5. Must be magic

ORDERED. Sometimes you just have to grit your teeth and do it. 200 sobs later... icon_shoppingm But it's a new Provari 3 I approve. My missus doesn't. I'm not sure about Mr HSBC.

As for the price. Well 12 days of the ciggies I used to smoke would buy a P3.
No contest really.

I'm not getting one... I could list the reason s why but it really comes down the fact I can't (wife would definitely stab me) spend £200 on a mod, also I'm not good enough with the spare money I do have to save for it. BUT if I did, I would buy it from a vendor with the utmost trust and respect, I would buy from VE Jason, not that it will have anything go bad since its a provari but for £200 I want that extra piece of mind that the vendor is going to be superb.

Provaris are made out of bricks and steel. I need one with my clumsy tendencies (especially when ale comes into the equation)

Anyone selling the P3 has to be a verified reseller by Provape so any vendor that stocks it will give the utmost customer service
