I notice there has been no comments about the Provari P3 for 3 or so weeks now and I am wondering how folks are getting on with theirs. I am finding that if I don't keep it as clean as a Surgeon's Knife, I get very poor performance from the battery life. Totally agree on that front. The other day I had a battery go from 55% to empty in 10 minutes. Took out the battery and put it into a Zmax with the same atty, juice and wattage and it lasted another 11 hours of vaping. These days I am either vaping in the house or in my new Vape Cave that I am building in the garden. So not places where a mod would be exposed to muck and dirt that would bung up the workings of an e-cig. I do not usually carry spare batteries when I go out and about but with the P3 I have to carry 2 spares and even then I have been caught out with 3 empty batteries. I went for the P3 because of the ProVari name and the fact that it was a VW. If it was the only one on the market then I would have to put up with the fact that I have to keep it scrupulously clean at all times, but it isn't and I have better things to do with my time than worry about whether my e-cig will work when I want it to. If it had worked the way I expected such a pricey item from such a well known provider of quality mods, I would have invested in another, but as things stand, the P3, for me, was a one off mistake. It's so easy for juice to get into places it shouldn't be, to be fair. I do like the P3, but am so much a convert to DNA40 that it doesn't get much of a look in these days... Mine is definately secondary to my rdna atm but im hoping provape come up with their temp control in the new year

The IQ feature also is a red light 'clean your gear!' The Taifun that's pretty much clamped onto my P3 can work like a dream for ages, then go all incontinent and make a blooming mess of the IQ rating without me even noticing. Especially when vaping and driving.

Hi davetherayon, I only use the Aspire Nautilus with the P3 and as it has a side vent, no juice can get down to the contact. The mere fact that the P3 has a sliding contact point makes me doubly sure that I only use side vented attys.

At the risk of self-advertisement lobeydosser, try this thread : Here. DNA40 with a bezel. Want a box? I have one that's free to a good home. PM me if you're up for it!
