I better dull it down a bit then Just a couple of the more popular tanks with P3 threads on them rather than 510 - should make for a pretty robust set-up More chance of breaking your leg than the connection if you sit down with it in your pocket

Oh yes suitably dulled, can't say I'm sold on that idea I've never broken a 510 connector or found them weak. If I was to buy a p3 special connector atty then I couldn't use it on any other mod. I may be proven wrong but I'm not seeing the benefit yet. Now if we can get an ala DNA40 software upgrade to give the P3 temp control I'll be first in the queue, name your price or I can just post over a blank cheque

Well, I see it is a plus - why have the P3 thread and not make use of it - plus it does away with the 510 barrel, which I managed to get stuck on a Aerotank Mega ??? Temp control - don't see the point in it myself, unless you are pushing the limits, but it is being worked on

I really can't see the connector being anything other than a P3 niche. The temp control gets good reviews so far and is eagerly awaited by many, bring on the VS 40's Of course options are great and if everyone felt the same we wouldn't see much product advancement so I'm all for innovation even if I view some of them as pants.

After reading about the issues with the DNA40 Greg - I've just put the order for the VS 40's on hold until the software is sorted and we are guaranteed the latest revision. But, I suppose that's the downside to innovation.

Lol, me too - I like the look of the box mods, but once I've got one - it still takes 2nd place to a tube

But, I suppose that's the downside to innovation. My big purchase this year was going to be a shark dna40. Its all very new and very exciting. but... having thought about it, its a great new innovation and possibly the next big leap forward in vaping technology, however, its the first release, all of the bugs will be there and as its the first, it will probably be improved upon greatly. Massive thumbs up to evolve for driving forward with the innovations - I'm super glad a company and its individuals are excited and dedicated enough to be working on and pushing these innovations. but... now my need for the newest and best thing wears off slightly, 'now that the smoke has cleared', I will be waiting to see where this goes. For the time being I'm still very very happy with building a coil to my liking and sticking it on a mech

It is now 1.30am and I have been using the same 18650 battery since 8am yesterday. I have it set on 7.6w on a 2 ohm Nautilus on the P3 and it says I have 22% battery life left. Vamo and Zmax, eat your heart out!

I've spent a few days with this new provari and my findings are I expected bomb proof build quality and I got it I expected smooth threading and the ability to take more than just IMR nipple top batteries and I got it I expected the mod to do as its predecessor did and deliver exactly what you set it to deliver- it does It's the exact same feel in the hand as previous povaris and I had no complaints with the feel of previous provaris. What I didn't expect was a far more efficient use of battery power- very very noticeably better. I expected to use it in 18500 mode as a trade off between length and battery life but I can honestly say that it's spent 90% of its life in 18350 mode and I'm quite happy to keep it that way for a while. It will be my indoor workhorse/attie tester/ohm reader/sitting in front of the pc device and that's simply because I prefer to use little pocket friendly box mods with small but high capacity tanks when I'm out and nothing to do with the performance of this P3. It's a quality device
