What an appalling article. Was it written by a 5 year old? It's littered with the word 'smoking' which always sends out the wrong message.......if it has been accurately quoted then as far as I'm concerned, the vendors quoted shouldn't be selling vape gear at all. I just wish we could start universally using the term vaping, rather than smoking.
I stopped smoking..........I now vape.........is what I tell everyone and anyone who is even vaguely interested. I can only assume whoever the reporter is hasn't a blummin clue!
Never mind the 'content'. Of course a ban on vaping will affect business..........

I do agree that we shouldn't vape in supermarket isles, middle of a packed restaurant but this guy from the b&m should have made sure that he got facts across not rubbish.

Just had a read of the article and did a bit of searching on the web.

The first guy quoted does not run or even work in an e-cig shop.
"Red Eye" is a head shop that also sells some vape stuff.
There normal product line includes bongs, herb grinders and grass seed etc.

At least the second person quoted makes some sense and the shop (emist) seems bonafide.

Banning ecigs altogether won`t harm business for ecig sellers in York . I went on a Saturday a few months ago with a pocket full of cash . Found 3 vape shops. One was crap the other 2 were shut so I didn`t spend anything
