That looks right. You must remember you have about 25ml of PG because of flavours and nicotine before you add the pure PG.

I can't read your figures from the screenshot Grandad . . . but don't forget your flavourings will also be counted as part of your overall PG ratio to give you the 60/40. So that probably makes your plain additions look a bit skewy. Crossed posts with prowler!

Could it be that your flavours should be no pg not 100% pg

Looks spot on Grandad. You are making 50ml and your nic & flavours are making up almost half of your mix, which are all pg, makes sense that the get to 50/50 you would be adding 25ml vg. So for your 60/40 20ml is spot on - its the only source of VG where as you have PG in many ingredients. Hope that makes sense

Thanks for the quick replies prowler Perpetua sorry about the screen shot its my first attempt at a screenshot What threw me was the 20ml vg against the 11.1 pg plus the pg in the cons just seemed a lot. and as im loving the custard lovechild didnt want to flaff it up on a 50ml mix. Thanks again for your replies

Got me worried now, I have always put no pg/vg in concentrate. Checking my T-juice and Celtic Vapours concentrates there is no mention of PG or VG - on the FW concentrates it lists PG in with ingredients. can some one please put me right - have I been mixing incorrectly for my 6 months mixing career

I think most concentrates are PG based. I'm sure someone, somewhere is doing VG based concentrate but it's quite rare. Additives like sweetener etc may not contain PG I'm not sure about them.

There's a few VG based flavourings, but you'd very likely know if you'd bought them - it's pretty safe to check them as being PG and part of your end PG ratio. One of the few VG based ranges I know of: www.justvape247.com/vg-base-flavours-75-c.asp

Thanks for putting me right from now on I will do it right, mind you I have got about 2 months stock in the vape cupboard.
There will no doubt be a calculation to add VG to make existing stock right ?

According to my calculation for an 80/20 mix I have put 1.2 ml too much PG and 1.2ml too little VG per 30ml mix
