Hi Folks, I thought I would share the fun I have had with my first week of mixology. OK so I had a play about mixing nic base to see what the actual base tasted like and trying different PG/VG mixes for the best vapour production/TH for me Now then, me being an impatient so and so I knew I wouldn't be happy waiting too long for steeping so I picked single flavour fruit flavours to get my hand in so to speak My first ever mix was black cherry. It was ok but a bit weak on flavour but hey, it's better to be a bit weak than taste like soap right? A little twiddling and a bit of adding up and BOOM My first yummy juice My second attempt was blackberry. Not really happy with this, have put it at the back of my drawer to see if time will work some magic Next up I thought I would have a bash at Menthol (You probably saw my thread asking about mixing concentrate from crystals) After a bit of mucking around I have a Delish menthol concoction which does not hurt my plastic tanks To be honest I forgot about menthol being a tank cracker and just filled one up The next morning I woke up and my first thought was SH!T MY TANK!!! (how sad is that?) but it was ok and still is ok next I thought I would have a go at honey coconut. My first offering to the great god Kitchen Sink. I went WAAAY too heavy with the honey. It tasted like lemon fairy with a hint of coconut Which brings me to today's attempt. Coconut & Pineapple ice cream. Smells pretty strong on the pineapple but time will tell. So when you all started mixing more than single flavours how long did it take to get something decent? Well thats me out of bottles now. Time for a bit of postie stalking

Not wanting to speak too soon (or loudly) but so far I've loved all of my mixes, its the one-shot concentrates (t-juice excepted) that have disappointed. For the past 2 weeks I have ONLY vaped my own concoctions and currently dont want to do anything else. And I'm mighty proud of it

Thanks for the links Perpetua I'm not really a fruits kind of person well not for my ADV. I'm more a sweet and puddings kind of vaper, I just wanted something that didn't need much time steeping I just don't have the patience. Now I know I can make a decent juice I can deal with waiting a bit longer. So my next question (and this may cause a bit of a riot) is who has the best custard recipe?

So my next question (and this may cause a bit of a riot) is who has the best custard recipe? Lol . . . my reply would be, they're all the ' best ' to the person who created them and all have their fans rughead121. I'd make a few small samples up using different recipes, then see which one tickles your custardy taste buds.
