This whole thread is stressing me. I got 2 x mini Nautilus on August 2nd (Vapefest) and have run them for 3 months on the original boxed heads (was that 4 in total?) plus 4 more. 8 heads in 3 months on two tanks. Not a leak to report. I have 4 packs of 'genuine' heads on the way from FT. Are they going downhill already? Someone on ECF said they'd had to bin an entire 5 pack of duds with genuine scratch-off codes. Oh dear, now I'm getting worried. I've got a genuine Nautilus mini on it's way to me. Genuine coils x 5 already delivered just waiting for the actual tank. Hope I haven't made a booby ordering it

Ive got a full size nautilus & never had any leaking issues (except when I first started to re-coil the coils myself) I think as plug & play tanks go theyre one of the best around, like someone has already suggested, the only way to get bad flooding like that is a duff coil or a badly fitting coil.....the only other thing would be the rubber sealing ring on the coil where it screws into the base is missing

I've not tried it yet but as Ripshod said, it might take some practice to get it perfect doing vertical but it's doable. smifee I think flagged up this little tool that looks like it makes recoiling horizontal a piece of cake; rebuildable coil tool the only thing different about the body is 2 of the feed holes are drilled out to take the wick, smifee has pointed that out somewhere also.

I have this "thing wot get your coils into place". I got it from Vapenquit. We'll see how easy it is sometime next year, when the coil needs replacing.

The only advantage to using the Vape N Quit tool is that it puts the coil at the right depth to line up with the drilled holes. I don't use it anymore finding it just as easy to insert the coil. Line it up with the holes and put an 18 gauge filling needle through the holes & coil to hold it in place. Horizontal is better. I never liked doing it standing up.

Yes lining it up, getting it through the hole and keeping it in place is easier done horizontal.

They are BVC atomizers. Had read they are supposed to be best, have resolved issues to a degree, have taken suggestion on thread to up wattage to 15 and it has stopped the leaking and gurgling. I still get what tastes like ever so slight spitting when it first fires up though. It is bearable but could be better. Cheers for all your responses.
