Popping a battery in it makes a circuit and makes it work.
It can never fail like vtr etc because there are no electronics in it to fail.

There are no wires at all.

Still confused So how do you get power if theres no electronics? The tube, think an empty torch tube has pins at either end, once you pop a battery in it causes electric , this is transferred to the coil in the tank on top.
That is probably a rubbish explanation as I don't understand electronics, try this - the best explanation I have ever found

Nice. That article has a picture of a Kamry KT-S+... one of the few mechs I have actually stored in box should there be an apocalypse. I don't know if that makes it bad or good?

probably posted this pic 3 times but think its relevant. These are both nemesis mech mods. the only button on it is on the bottom underneath - that makes the battery connect and supplies power to the atty - no electronics to speak of
