Hi People, Am I right in thinking that a high VG liquid may need more steeping time than a mix with more PG? I have a bit of a sore throat so I whipped up a batch of high VG menthol but it isnt tasting right. Maybe its my 1 remaining taste-bud finally gave up

I don't steep them any differently timewise to higher PG mixes I make for friends rughead121 . . . if you've a bit of a bug, that could also be affecting your taste buds or perhaps the underlying sweetness VG has might be making the difference?

I only vape high VG mixes - I find they need more flavouring than mixes with more PG in them - Often over 20% flavouring.

thanks Perpetua and b1mble I added a bit of PG to bring the mix to 80%VG and it was fine. No idea what it was but problem solved. Thanks

Thanks The problem was probably that PG is a much better flavour carrier than VG. I did a 80/20 mix for dripping with RA (RA conc being the only source of PG) but i did find the flavour slightly muted even though there was a tonne of cloud. Adding just another 10% of PG brought the flavour right out. Glad you are all sorted
