I'd prefer to always keep the original boxes. Sometimes the drawer gets a bit full so I'll bin boxes for the kit I'll never get rid of

I keep some boxes, the atty stuff though (extra screws and o rings) that comes in plaggy bags, the bag gets written on with a permanent marker eg "Kayfun 3 number 92" and thrown in a large jiffybag marked 'spare atty stuff'

Here's the box I store mixology equips in (and there's a cabinet drawer full of VG and PG, with a freezer drawer packed with nic base... we all do that... don't we? ) and the jiffys doing duty for kanthal/ekowool, and for spare atty bits. The box is for syringes with needles attached. One thing is missing... hmm.... oh yeah this humungous box of rayon

Having said that I haven't binned the squape box yet but it is rather dashing.

I keep all boxes and have a loft full. The family all take the mickey UNTIL they want a box.

Then I make them grovel a bit.

YES I have a bloody attic FULL of random boxes, most of which are for electrical goods that have died and gone already? and as we already have a bedroom in attic eaves this means I have to crawl on my hands and knees along all the joists - to get to them (aka throw them) and it isnt going to happen!

Selective keeper of boxes I think I am Mrsmac . . . larger boxes for kettles and the like get binned, because they irritate me trying to find the space to store them.

Smaller boxes, have a certain fascination and charm though and have to be kept - mainly the type that vaping gear comes in admittedly.
