Hi bluetulip, and , lots of good solid advice for you already, so I'd just like to add, I and my missus have been off the cigs completely for a month now. It wasn't planned that way, we just eventually realised we preferred vaping to smoking, and that was it , don't put pressure on yourself with targets etc, go at your own pace, and it'll happen

I have read the guide on here and definitely want one of the techy looking ones rather than a ciggy lookalike. Welcome bluetulip - great to have you here. I am stopping reading the thread now I have read this. 'Techy' works and 'techy' probably costs less. Everything else is close to pointless. You know it makes sense. (I'm in thoughtful mood tonight after attending a works party and meeting not one, but FOUR people who gave up on e-cigs because they "didn't work") It's amazing who you meet in the car park sneaking in a quick smoke.

I found another site that had the purple glass one with 10% discount www.steamgunk.co.uk and the code was POTV10 I couldn't find any liquid on there so I'm now spending the rest of the day hunting for the right liquid lol. I didn't realise that you can add different strengths and basically pay extra for liquid cocktails. Crikey,it's a complicated new world for me lol. So I'm now off to obsess about liquids..is health e vape the cheapest site? Or is there another one that is cheaper? Thanks again Hi bluetulip Steamgunk are a good site and a friendly helpful vendor. Have ordered from there many times, especially at the start of my vape journey. They used to sell a great quality line of ejuice, but at the moment they are having a break from mixing and Chefs Vapour (another very good and helpful vendor with a great range of their own juices) are selling the Steamgunk liquids for them. Good luck with it all I never had any serious intentions of quitting smoking when I first tried vaping. I'd smoked roll ups for 24 years and still enjoyed it. Amazingly I haven't touched one since - no one was more suprised about that than me!!

for you bluetulip. I gave up the stinkies just over a month ago. Haven't had one since and I never thought I could do it, but am now VERY happy I tried. I got loads of advice on here and I'm still trying out new flavours of juice. I seem to like the peach/apple/fruity ones. The juices from myepack are quite strong. I have since bought from lte andthey seem to be a lot lighter. I now prefer the lte ones, I think my taste buds are slowly recovering from the 40+ years of stinkies. Whatever you choose, good luck and I hope it works for you and your son.

I've ordered 4 10ml from ltecigs. So far I have spent £42 including the ecig. I'm hoping I eventually learn how to cut costs by mixing my own :/ I picked 18mg strawberry custard, fresh sex (purely because of the name lol) cappuccino and basil's custard. How long would a 10ml last me or should last me? Absolutely can't wait to try it all out My friend told me that she gave up on hers because it didn't work for her so I've gone back to being a little skeptical again lol. Well everything should be here in a few days and there is only one way of finding out

The buying advice on here usually consists of 'if it is shiny, buy it', welcome to the forum.

Really be reassured bluetulip it's just a question of getting the right variables. Variable on power, dilutent concentrations, nic strength etc etc. Don't give up on e-cigs. Most people who've 'tried them' have no idea about all this and you are in the right place for all the help you need... Postie stalking will begin soon .....you will soon be on first name terms with your postie . You will keep postie in business LOL have a great day!

Depending on the power of your e-cig, and how much you puff away, 10ml should last a fair while for you. When I started (got off the E-Lites super-crap) I used about 1.5-2.0ml a day. These days, that's going to be more like 2-3ml as things have got more powerful. 40ml would last me 3 weeks these days... but I am a saint, of course. ???

You have found the right place for friendly help and advice - also a newbie and have gained from others experiences for my purchases. I personally love the iStick Eleaf for lasting power. Good luck!

Hi everyone My evod arrived and it's so pretty lol. My friend gave me one of his liquids at 18mg (which I've already got on order) This is probably a stupid question but I'm confused. I started it up and have had a few drags, I inhaled at different draws but I coughed my guts up and throat hurts. I've just googled if I'm using it right and some say that I must not inhale. I truly thought that's what I was supposed to do. Can someone tell me the correct way to vape please? I thought I just had to smoke it like a fag :/ Sorry to sound stupid x

Some people mouth draw then inhale it or some draw it right down into their lungs, you will find out what suits you but do persevere as it will work out in the long run and if you are like a lot of others you will feel a lot better for it
No such thing as a stupid question, we've all been there, I still am, and you've come to the right place to find out all you need to know

I had a lot of bother when I first started as I was drawing too hard on it, try drawing more gently. I am a mouth to lung inhaler so inhale into mouth and the draw it back into my lungs. It can take a bit of getting used to but do persevere and you will get there

Hiya bluetulip and to AAEC Great to hear you have a new vapestick, slow gentle draws (nothing like a ciggy) and inhaling mouth to lung (instead of straight into lungs) is gentler. It won't take long to get used to it.

Vaping is very much a different technique, but you will have it sussed within a few days i'm sure. As mentioned, gentle even inhale to mouth then let it slip into lungs. I only occasionally do a straight lung inhale and when doing that its a slow loose draw, letting in half vape/half air and sloooowly (less likely to cough and choke) also, try exhaling through your nostrils, you get a nice bonus flavour hit that way
