I was just about to start some mixing when the postie arrived with my first order from fasttech, so I had to have a play My first build on a dripper, my magma clone. 10 wraps of 28 AWG came out at 1.52 ohms, on my new ohm meter. The cotton is a bit thin on the left so I have replaced that. I have also dropped the coil a little nearer to the air hole. Not bad for a first attempt and it certainly packs a punch flavour wise

Found a downside, my strawberry custard red astaire mix tastes awful bland in my protank now after tasting it in the magma, maybe I should have 2 more magmas on order rather than the protanks

Yes reddragon, that is the downside of having a beast like the Magma, they make juices taste so good that reverting to tank systems is always a bit of a come-down. I use my dripper rarely, but recently invested in a Magma, and find it works fantastically well with dual coils. Just a reminder, I'm sure you know this already, but remember that the airflow ring is configured so that if you are only using one coil, it works with the blank section covering the airhole on the opposite side to your coil, thus preventing too much airflow. Keep turning the ring until the blank portion is covering the second airhole, and Bob's your Uncle!

Thanks chykensa I spent a lot of time watching youtube vids of setting up and reviews of the magma, so knew about the air flow ring set up, but thanks for the thought prr that made me laugh as I am really not known for being neat in any part of my life

Erm, igual it is one that sort of happened. It started off as Cloud9 vaping strawberry 18mg 50/50 4ml Cookies & cream conc 0.5ml Sweetener 0.3ml French vanilla deluxe conc 1ml ABC 12mg 50/50 1ml Coconut conc 2ml VG 2ml I mix 2/3 of the above with 1/3 red astaire mixed at 20% I have adapted it from the above using sweet strawberry conc and vanilla custard conc in place of the pre mixed juices. I must make sure I make a note of my recipe in future, not my strong point record keeping, I start off with good intentions and get waylayed

I did my Orchid with 2 bits of Heineken can 6.6 mm (3.14 X the diameter of the hole) wide rolled into tubes, stuffed into the holes and cut to length.
