 If it's any help...I have the 'old' style Protank AFC on my istick...perfect.

 There's a photo on 'What's in your hand' a couple of pages back.

Does elderflower work on a lower wattage setting maybe? Overheated custard juice is purdy disgusting, but nomful when it's not too hot.

davetherayon, thank you for that hint.....it is marginally less , but it won't ever be a favourite and I won't be using the concentrate ever again! In fact I've had a cull of the concentrate box today, there are a few I've tried and don't like, so I'll have to pass them on very soon.

Which airflow controller did you get sleedale ?.........The ones I got from VE Jason work fine.........

sleedale It's not an AFC but I bought some of those ego to 510 thingies to protect the istick threads (when I eventually get the actual isticks!!).

You're more than welcome to have one as I bought more than I need. Don't know if they'll definitely fit yet mind...

It's certainly a thought Perpetua, though I'd have preferred, an adaptor that fit and a battery case that was, well, the right size. Not bothered at all, I know it will be sorted out without any problems, bought from a great, well respected vendor, so not worried. Not bothered about the battery case tbh, I'd be happy to give it away on here, but I do need a fitting adaptor for the vtr, before the threads go! It's already buzzing, don't want it to have sloppy atties!
There was a plus though, the sun shone briefly, didn't dry the grass or road or flags, but me and the dog had a nice squelch around the fields, and as you say, I can sit here and window shop to my hearts content.
Life is sweet really.
Oh, and somewhere in this country is a tiny red/pink/cerise istick waiting to travel onwards to meet the blue one already here. I consider myself very lucky

chrisjw, that's where I got mine.....just won't fit, it'll be a few microns out or the vtr has very a tight 510! No ones fault, it happens. Just hope it's not a dodgy vtr.

spacey that's very kind of you to offer, but it needs to be the one I bought which doesn't fit but should fit cos all the others other folk have bought fit fine.........phew.......thank you though. And I'm sure yours will be great with the iStick.

I don't own a VTR, so can't comment on that, but it should work fine on the I-stick & MVP

You weren't supposed to see this! It is in no way any reflection on your service, business or care and attention to customers. You are one of the very bestest vendors out there, and I wasnt expecting any sort of reply until MONDAY, when you are back at work. And it could well be the threads on the vtr which aren't quite accurate, and, and, and......now I feel very, very mean and awful
