Just an update on my p3 use. One 18650 is lasting me almost entirely 2 days. 1.3 coil @11w. I have ordered some 18500 imr to sneak some length off of the p3. I am super impressed with the device and the battery life, although it does make me sad that we have a few people who obviously aren't having such a good time with it.

I don't even know what the iq function is or does lol should read the manual a bit more. All I know is that I'm not impressed with it. I get a better vape from my zmax and legend than I do from this although I've have problems with tanks on them that I don't get with the p3 but even that brings up errors now and again with the pro tank but all I have to do is unscre it and put it back on and then it works fine again. My reference to a faulty batch is that at least two of us are having the same issue with batteries suddenly going flat when they are obviously not flat bearing in mind how quick they then charge up and got from half full to empty in a second. All my contacts are clean. Wondering if they have slipped through the net so they could rush them out in time for the holidays. The only good points forward me are the engineering every slides on so smoothly and that it feels good in the hand perfect size for me with 18490 battery and the weight is not so bad it does lt set off my rsa or tendonitis as some of the other larger mods although the constant changing of batteries is causing a flare up, If I could have tried before I bought it I'm not sure I would have got one. However if there is a fault with the one I have and that it can be resolved I'm more than willing to change my opinion on it, but at present its gone back in the box and I have gone back to my legend. I'm sure it will get sorted clairea, Provape have a great reputation for reliable mods and I'm sure jason will sort it for you as well as reporting the issues back to PV. They'll be keen to iron out any gremlins too. the IQ reading is a measure of the batteries internal resistance but also includes the resistance of the battery connections to the mod spring and circuit board contact so if the contacts aren't clean it will affect the IQ Reading down. what IQ reading are you getting, if your not sure how to check, just enter the menu and select for example wattage up but then don't change the wattage value, it will then scroll through various values one of which is your IQ reading. What IQ a are you getting ? i was getting 74 good then as the week has gone on, it's gone down to 64 ok and now it's at 57 poor have cleaned it inside and out and no grime except at the top where you put the atty expected because of Juice it's now packed up and going back to Jason, when my hubby can get to post office. i've noticed the battery goes down in 2-5% each puff, and if i take the battery out and put it back in same battery the % goes back up, then down rapidly but they still charge quite quickly if i put the battery in another mod it's 50% when provari says it's empty. have pulled the spring up as recommended by provape and still not got anywhere, so hence going back to Jason to sort out i'm only vaping at 8.0 w 4.1 v because anything higher and i get a burnt taste. vaping twilight chefs vapour at mo it's my adv,but its the same no matter what i vape. just a bit fed up not feeling well stuck in bed and cant seem to settle with a decent vape at mo, think my expectations are to high at moment, have the protank 3 on it at mo as i don't like the aspire nauteus don't like the aerotank, but i'm going through coils like they are going out of fashion, so feeling grumpy and down,

My P3 is going back to Provari, through Jason at VE.
I am now using a replacement courtesy of Jason and it is working fine. Had it 2 days now.
Although I have been advised not to use, or at least pay too much attention to the IQ side of things, I do notice that the slightest bit of dirt or grease on any connection, be that on the battery or any of the screw threads will send the IQ from one end of the scale to the other. To me, the IQ is only an indication that there is some dirt somewhere and in no way will influence the rest of the workings of the P3.
Newly charged batteries on my present P3 are recording about 93% charge where before they were recording less than 50%. These batteries are now going down to 3% or lower before recording empty whereas before they would cut out about 43%.
So, at the moment, the replacement P3 is working well. I will report my progress with it over the next 3 weeks.
