AAEC is certainly the "older vapers" forum when you compared it to other forums:

Oh I don't know, there's a fair share of daftitude hereabouts from time to time!

I was slightly taken aback though by the gender prevalence in the UKV one - the lasses are outnumbered better than four to one by the lads (out of those who voted).

Think AAEC's a bit more evenly distributed these days although back in the early days I reckon it would probably have been the opposite way round. Going back even further the old eBay group was practically all female...

Which reminds me - I miss BeachBoy, he was lovely and hasn't been here for yonks. I still quote his trademark line to encourage new vapers "Don't count the ones you smoke (analogs), count the ones you DON'T" all the time. Anyone know how he's going on these days?
