uh kinda weird quoting oneself... just wanted to add that the fill screw o rings double up as a great fix for a kayfun (or any atty with removable but not adjustable centre-post) with a sunk-in or flat 510.

See folks, this is what makes this forum so great!! I have some experience with KFLs and thought, erroneously, that I may be able to help. I put on my cape, checked my underpants were on over my trousers, stuck my right arm in the air and flew over here, only to find that all questions had been answered and better still, spares and replacements have already been packed and are to be posted. My work here is done! Actually, I have now bookmarked the o-ring link, as I have just tried replacing o-rings on a Russian only to find that the spares I have just taken delivery of are too thick - pooooo!!

Just a quick one on the trapping of the legs, make sure the legs come off the bottom of the coil and not the top. Being left handed, when I first started making coils, I was automatically winding the coils away from me (anticlockwise) instead of towards me (clockwise). That was making the legs come from the top of the coil. A silly little thing to do, but was baffling me for a while ???
