www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-30249249Just a few quotes, and my comments are in the brackets. The three-point turn could be dropped from the UK driving test as part of biggest update to the exam in 20 years. (I'll just block the road and wait for the AA) Under the other changes being considered, drivers may no longer need to reverse around a corner. (I'll just carry on the wrong road till I get to a roundabout) Under a revised practical exam, learners may also be asked to use a satellite navigation system instead of following road signs. (where did that duck pond come from?) The DVSA said a candidate, for example, may be asked to show how they would operate the rear heated screen while driving. (I'm in a different car, how the hell do I know which switch?)

Drive in London, soon realise that all dropped off radar years ago, along with not enough room to get car through there but i'll carry on flat out anyway, parked on wrong side of main road now how do I do a 3 point turn ahh yes take 5 attempts and bring traffic to standstill, it's raining dark and i'm riding a bike lets where black clothes and lights well whats the point, I could go on for hours on this. Angry driver that used to enjoy driving MP

What I wonder is when they stopped putting indicators on cars? Surely you should know that if I'm in the left hand lane at a roundabout that I'm going to turn right ??? ETA: My satnav told me... blame her!

SWMBO has told me I'm going to get into trouble one of these days. Sitting at the roundabout the other day waiting to turn left into supermarket roundabout. Traffic streaming round there with no indicators so started pointing at the front of their motors, one or two sheepishly acknowledged. Anyway drew into car park after the inevitable white van. Driver out of van and asked what I had been pointing at? Told him his indicator was not working. "Yes it is" "Well try F****ng using it and give the rest of us a clue where you are going" Off I walked my work done for the day

What I wonder is when they stopped putting indicators on cars? The only time the Canarians use their indicators is when they're slowing down, then they put on their left indicator and you either keep waiting for them to turn left which they don't do or you wonder how the hell they are going to turn left coz it's a straight road with no turn offs for miles took me a few months when I first moved over here to work out why they were using their left indicators when they were never turning left. Makes me wonder why the hell we've got break lights

bonnieboy... so wanted to do that, but when I see the driver it's usually a flat capped, elderly Volvo driver. Oh s**t... I've just described myself, less the flat cap!

I should have applied for my bus pass nearly 10 years ago, but am putting it off as long as possible. At least I'll know what it means when I do get it.

We have local roudabout, all single lanes approaching, and a white ghost bike to indicate a cyclist was killed there, I now have to make sure everytime I indicate turning left and then check mirrors because idiots on bikes still think it ok to come up on left and go straight on, take some responsobility please (I also cycle).
