my biggest fear this morning was that I might have casually vape shopped and blown my Christmas present funds! I nervously checked PayPal ...... touch wood, I didn't buy anything daft

Getting older sucks donkey plonk. I have a mate who's a few years younger than me (4 years) and when we get elephants on a Saturday, which is often  I can see him struggling with memory of things that I was struggling with a few years ago. One thing we have in common though, is a determination to not work our bums off till we're 65 or 67 or 70 or whenever the Government deems us fit to exit the workplace... my plan is 62. I wouldn't be living in luxury by a long chalk at then, but provided the world economy doesn't go totally to piss by 2022, I should be ok to do it. Own my own (humble shithole) house, no debts to anyone for years (thanks Mum & Dad for indoctrinating me into the DEBT IS EVIL fact). tl;dr. Saturdays are fun aren't they?  |
