Ok - I'm rubbish at Maths. I go into a sort of blind panic and although there's probably a really simple way of doing this, I just can't figure out how... Instead of making a recipe with pg, vg, concentrates, nic all adding up to 100%, I want to make a bottle of the concentrate up and then add this at say 10% or 12%. The recipe in question has about 10 flavours, all of very tiny amounts of various spices and things, so I figure it would be easier to do it this way and if I want it stronger I can add more but it will all still be in the same ratios the original recipe has (does this even make sense!!) How do I do this if the original recipe has the % of each flavour used, and % of pg/vg and nic all totalling 100% What I mean is, in the recipe the flavours currently come to 6.25%. How do I turn them into 100% to make a bottle of concentrate whilst keeping the original ratios? I'm sorry, I've been away for 2 days and need to sleep. I'm confusing myself even trying to explain what I mean!! Thanks to anyone that can decipher this and help me

I think I'm following. So if each of your 10 ingredient flavours equal 0.625% each, just divide 0.625 by 6.25 and then multiply by 100 = 10% Therefore for each ingredient divide by 6.25 and multiply by 100 Hope that helps.

ok, so pretend you want to make 100ml, 200ml or more of this recipe... put it in the calculator and then just mix the quantities of the flavours and ignore the nic, PG and VG. You then have a bottle of premixed concentrates, enough to make up whatever ml you put in to the calculator.
Does that make sense, I've had a few?

(for ease) in the recipe set it to make 200ml... this will give you the amount to make 12.5ml of flavours, just don't add the rest. you can then 'finish' the recipe by adding the nic/pg/vg at a later date, at 6.25% or stronger, like you say

Ok, I've listed the 12 flavour %'s below (I know it's a lot of flavours but they're tiny amounts and it's for a taste I've been yearning after since I started vaping!!) So.... Greg you're saying that I need to divide each of the individual flavours by ten times it'self and multiply by 100??? And lairey - your way would be to add them all to a calculator (which is another prob as ejuice me up doesn't let you input 12 flavours, I suppose I would double them up and then half them)and not input any pg/vg/nic amounts, and then press calculate? and this would then give me 100% of concentrate? I am so sorry - I must seem really thick but it just does my head in when I try and work it out Thank you both!! 1) 1.25% 2) 1% 3) 1% 4) 0.75% 5) 0.5% 6) 0.25% 7) 0.25% 8) 0.25% 9) 0.25% 10) 0.25% 11) 0.25% 12) 0.25%

Even easier, make up your flavour, decide what strength you want it at. Say you want 100ml at 15%, divide 100 by 0.15 and that is the amount of concentrate you need, then just top up to 100 ml. I think it's the making up the flavour bit that spacey is trying to get her head around prr

Then, ignore the nic. PG & VG and just mix the concentrates in what ever volumes the recipe says. Then your premixed concentrate is made and you can then enter a single flavour in the recipe at 6.25% or any other % you want. If you're still struggling tomorrow, I'll put it through the calculator for you, but too sozzled right now to guarantee it would be right!

Oo-er, pass the wine bottle, maths was never my forte, and this is spinning a mile over my head! Thank goodness there are some switched on peeps on this forum that can rise to a mathematical challenge, unlike me! spacey, if you get this sorted to your satisfaction, you will have my unending admiration. Tell me all about it next Saturday
