I received my Just Astaire on Tuesday. Did a quick 30ml mix at 20% flavour, thought I'd treat it the same as RA and try it straight away, I'm not getting any flavour at all from it so I'll leave it for a week and try it again.

I also bought some and I seem to have the same issue @ 20% not much taste. it has been steeping for a while but still very weak. I might up the percentage a bit to see it that helps.

If I mix it at a higher percentage flavour then I might have just as well of bought RA in the first place as I mix that at 20%
In future I'll stick with RA and not look for cheaper alternatives, no point wasting money.

Still on my ' to do ' list I'm afraid iLardyboy . . . I've a lot of Custard waiting to be used lol, but the neat concentrate tastes pretty decent, nice & smooth. Not overly sweet or strong, but a good creamy custard flavour comes through. I'm thinking they've used Capella VC, but I could be mistaken - going to use 30% for my tastes when I do make some up though.

Thanks Perpetua, may just stick to making my own. I wanted to ask you a question about your high VG mixes. Do you dilute your VG, and how is the wicking with it? I'm going to start mixing high VG as I think I'm becoming PG intolerant. I'm finding that my chest tightens using higher PG mixes and I'm getting really sore spots inside my nose. I've just always been worried about getting high VG to wick, but recently vaped a bottle of 80% VG Custard from I Fancy One. It was really creamy and smooth, found it much easier to vape and it wicked perfectly in my Subtank.

I probably won't buy it again iLardyboy, it was curiousity as much as anything that I did . . . . you know how it is! Don't dilute my VG/VG Base at all . . . only one I do that with ( then not by that much ) is Nicvapes, as it really is a thick base - although very nice. The bases I've bought in the UK since, have all been considerably thinner and I don't like watery eliquid, so haven't bothered. No problems with wicking in anything I use, even top coils - the occasional swoosh sorts that out. It's a pain if you have become PG sensitive, I did after 18 months vaping - but VG bases are much more widely available now, which is great . . . and I've never been a big fan of throat hit, so VG heavy suits me better really. My thinking is the atomisers/clearomizers we have now and the improved wick materials, have cut out/down many of the issues we used to have with high VG.
