It's 35 years since I went to the cinema, Watership Down was the last film I went to see (I was married then)but since then mainly because it meant going to Gloucester plus lack of anything I really wanted to see I haven't bothered even when a new cinema opened in town, however having seen a couple of clips of the new Hobbit film I must say I am rather tempted to see it properly instead of just waiting for the DVD. Good to meet another cinema-spurner. The last time I went was in 1978, to see David Lynch's Eraserhead, and before that, at the end of the 60s, to see 2001.
Not been tempted to go since. Too many people, not enough interesting films. Three cheers for streaming sites.

last time was to see Titanic with the one I love and not soon after. the relationship had the same script, we hit a iceberg. Last time I watch Watership down, my pet rabbit Skippy died.
Don't worry I will stay away from watching Armageddon.
Agree with Oliver - thank god for streaming or just download a well know platform

Went at the weekend with wife and child. £30 on tickets, £20 on sweets and drinks. Fell asleep during the film as did a night shift beforehand. Won't be busting a gut to go back.

Dave Hi Dave, I think you should go see the movie, not seen it myself, but I believe it's brill, also in colour nowadays . Go on Dave, go the Movies, and don't forget to give us all a review. Now your on a mission, go.

I do love the cinema, lived near one as a child. Hated it when Mum bought us sweets and drinks from the supermarket to take. I now take sweets and drink from the supermarket as won't pay cinema prices.
