My neighbour started with and is still using a standard 901 with auto batty and using carts. She's seen my GG and the nic-stick but always wants her 901.There's a language barrier and her son sometimes explains things for me.
What would you suggest she move on to ? Something thats easy on the pocket, not huge, easy to use and i think the Ego types will be thought too big by her. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'd suggest the SD Keyring if she doesn't want anything too huge, with some Kanger Cartomiser's maybe CKC, as they give a very nice vape . . . not too dissimilar to a 901 for me.

And the best bit about them is that they are cheap, :-)

I've looked at the SD keyring and i'd guess she'd need 2. Looks like it's going to be a move to cartos are the Kangers easy to fill, how long do they normally last ?
Are there any batteries similar to the 901,even if they're a bit longer ?
(please feel free to move this to the newbies section if it should be there)

Yes, I'd say she deffo would need two SDK's . . . Kangers are pretty simple to use, although like all carto's - getting the first fill right is the important thing.
About a week mine last, before dropping off.

I'd say leave her alone with her 901 atty if she likes it, but try to get her onto a Riva battery. A lot of folk seem to diss the 901's without trying them. I know they can be messy but they do give a lovely flavour and now you can get them in a tank version.

Another option is the Kr808d-1 models: www.safercigs.co.uk/Intro_Vapour_PRO/p705283_4307948.aspx (use "allaboute" for 10% off). For the price of one sd keyring, you're getting two batteries from this deal and the cartomisers will be compatable with their 901 (or will they? I think so ). They're only 20mah less than the Sd keyring so they'll have a similar run time I don't think a riva or ego in a 650mah battery is that much bigger though: That's a 280mah volt battery next to my ego T without the tank on so it would be the same sort of size as an ego with just a cartomiser on. They're the same length, only the ego is a little wider. 901 rivas also exist so they could stick with whatever cartomiser/atomiser they have now with their 901s and use them with a higher mah battery.

Thanks everyone, there's some interesting options there. I might order a few Kangers and pass one on for her to try and then see what i can do with her on the battery options. My concern is the fact that a lot of places now seem to be stocking less or are completely out of the 901's and i'd like to find something she'd be happy with.

CK, the Kr808 that Leftield linked to is compatible with 901 atomisers.

Thanks Chrissie, that's quite a good buy at that price then as she's been paying about £8 a battery. At least i've more of an idea whats available now.
