is the top o-ring sealing? Just a guess!! Mine came without it fitted. Do you leave it stood up when not in use?

Yep all o rings in place and is left stood up in my office when not in use I have a theory that I may have tipped it a little too far with just a little too low a level of juice when I used it allowing air to get into the tank through the juice channels thus destroying the vacuum voila leaky messy shit but I could well be wrong

Most tanks rely on holding a partial vacuum to hold the juice in the tank.

Just a wee tip regarding the wicking. Just pull a small tail of the wick into the channels when assembling. Don't know how I forgot this but another thread has jogged the ol' memory. Just a little bit in the channels (2mm is enough) should stop flooding. Applies to ALL the foggers.

May take a few attempts to get it right, but it's like riding a bike, hence my forgetfulness. I think it works by the wet wick forming a seal. When you vape the juice the wick dries and lets air through til it's wet enough to seal again.
I trust it enough to just leave my v4 however it is (laid down, stood up, in the pocket), don't think I've had a single flood since leaving the tails.

Ok finally got round to rebuilding the fogger and give it another bash this time I trimmed the ends of the wicks so that I could put the ends in the juice channels they are snug but not packed and so far so good dosent seem to make as much vapour as my kayfuns but the flavour is awesome and so far no leaks and I'm on my 2nd tank so will see how I go canes the batteries tho lol

Still worth playing with tho @chrisbbacon. I suggest less wick in the channels so just a small tail in the channels (not snug, really just a tiny ammount), the rest of the wick to the deck - when you rewick of course. Enjoy that tankful first

I got a fogger v4.0 recently and loving it so far. Did a bit of reading up before attempting my first build and pretty much nailed it first time. I did the thing with a little bit of each wick poking through and seems to work a treat. No flooding or dry hits yet. If you don't do this already try priming the wicks after trimming them to roughly the right position first. Much easier to get the wicks positioned nicely once wet. Good luck with it

Ok so 3 tanks down and so far no issues think this may be licked no dry hits no flooding so all good am glad I have a v5 tho don't fancy trying to get my coils under the screw heads lol thanks everyone for all your help must say I'm loving the flavour from this tank even if the vapour production is a tad disappointing and the battery consumption is twice that of my kayfun guess that's dual coils for ya lol

Right the build issues are sorted but still going back to the kayfun I really can't be doing with the power consumption of the fogger it's a blinding tank but uses twice the batteries I use with the kayfun the cons outweigh the pros for me thanks again peeps
