No sugar in tea or coffee. But I do like strong coffee I'm talking two spoons of coffee per mug, or the proper stuff home ground watch the coffee intake @tedster when living next door to an indie pop band practising all hours of the night ,and commuting to henly on 2 wheels for a year that coffee intake was my staple and it gave me gastric ulcers..

Ah tedster, I have the same pills but for a different reason. If I eat something after around 8 pm especially something sweet, it usually comes back to bite me around 2-3 am with acid reflux, and that is no fun at all. Sore burnt throat where drinking lots of water will sooth, until I can get back to what I like doing, which is sleeping. So I know now, that if I force down a bowl of rice pudding, a slice of cake or something, I can take a pill that stops the reflux happening later on. This is not every night, as my lady Doc. told me not to get used to them, but it is nice to know that I can combat this nuisance after the occasional snack late (to me) at night.
