Really mikemichelle I have just sung in my first concert (at one of this town's major venues) for the first time in 25 years. Would I have even considered joining the choral group if I was still on the stinkies? Not on your nelly!!! What people are saying isn't just hearsay or stuff to make you buy more stuff. tis true and welcome to our lovely vaping world... If one set up doesn't work describe your probs and we'll find you and alternative Blessings

*welcome*mikemichelle. I'm also a 20 a day 45 year no hope of ever giving it up ex smoker. You will be shocked at how easy it will be once you get the right set up and juice. For me it was menthol juice ( hated menthol cigarettes ) that helped me most along the way. I found it gave me that feeling of smoke hitting the back of my throat...apart from the nicotine addiction it's also the "smoke " and action of "drawing in" that hooks us smokers...ecigs will do it for you...personally I would get a small bottle of menthol juice...good luck but I'm confident you'll be fine

Throat hit and seeing vapour got me! Didn't want to stop smoking. Had a toot on a cigalike and like 'wow!' Got my Riva and was totally blown away. If I can switch, so can you. Not had a stinky since coming up to 2 years nearly!

Over 6 months for me now. I found it quite easy to switch to e cigs and like you started with an EVOD 2 starter kit and still using the batteries. On advice from here I bought a Mini protank 3 and that is really good so I have got 3 tanks now as backup Took me a while to find a juice that suited me but thats part of the fun, After spending £50.00+ per week now spending about £6.00. One bit of advice is to always make sure you have your kit and back up with you, people I know whos battery has gone or something else, it is easy to pop in a chop and buy a pack of ciggies Stick with it and good luck Keep looking at the forums - it really does help

The only part of that rollie that you need is the nicotine I agree that the Nicotine is a very big part, but so is the habit and doing something with your hands! Once I'd got used to vaping I started re-wicking and re-coiling + mixing my own juices. I now find Vaping totally satisfying! History:- Smoked for 57 years and ended up on 80+ grams of baccy a week. Been Vaping over 2 years, never had a fag!
mikemichelle best of luck, I wish you well

Lots of good advice given above, will just add how I ended up on Vapes, A chest infection meant I had to stop smoking, 3 days later climbing the walls and real bad mood, then saw ad for a cigalike so bought it, another 3 days passed before delivery and I was really desperate, nobody told me you had to burn the preservative oil off that they used to use in the old days, so in my gob, tasted like old boots but it was heaven, and of course improved as the oil went away, five and half years later never looked back. Of course these days you got lot of choice to get it right, back then it was limited. Good luck and enjoy.

I never thought that will give up stinkies, never.I just loved to smoke.I started with EVOD 2 starter kit+mini protank2 thanks to all advice given me from all lovely people on this forum.I give up stinkies overnight, but if you can't just dual fuel while you completely sure just vape will be enough. No,vaping is not like smoking and you need to be ready to switch. It's all up to you and your strong will. But once you switch you will wonder how you ever wanted to smoke. Good luck and keep us posted

it is easy to pop in a chop and buy a pack of ciggies You shouldn't be smoking while you're cooking bob. Unlike many here, I'm not repelled by fag smoke. I loved smoking and am sure I could easily fall back in to it. Luckily, I adopted vaping full time from the word go. And it's bloody cheap.

Hi bobmcdee. Thanks for the reply/info. About this Mini Protank 3 ... does that fit on on the EVOD 2 Starter Kit? I'm still just getting to grips with the hardware but having googled it, it looks as though it doesn't have a bottom/battery? So please confirm (anyone) is this will fit on the EVOD 2 please?

In simple terms an evod starter kit will contain 1 or 2 batteries along with evod atomisers (they hold liquid). The mini protank 3 is another type of atomiser that will fit on the supplied battery. Don't want to sound condescending, hope this helps, regards, Paul.
