Recently bought a new Aspire Nautilus Mini and had it with in two days and the Coil burnt out and I went and bought another couple and the same keeps happening over the past week but when I had a Nautilus before a never had any bother with it the Coil use to last about 3 weeks anyone know why this can happen a normally smoke at about 9.0 Watts or 4.2 Volts ?

Cheers being reading through i think its cos ive been changing the Coil & not leaving it to settle propley and just toking on it straight away I only smoke on about 9.0 watts and the coil is a 1.8 aswell

Cheers being reading through i think its cos ive been changing the Coil & not leaving it to settle propley and just toking on it straight away I only smoke on about 9.0 watts and the coil is a 1.8 aswell I would say you are probably burning the wicking material before it gets chance to fully saturate. Before putting the tank on the coil, put 5-6 drops of liquid directly on the material through the top and fully wet it. Should be go to go from off after putting it on your tank then

Cheers Biggest problem I can see is that you should be VAPING it, you're NOT a smoker

4.2v is more or less my favourite setting. It (on the iStick)"claims" to be 9-10 watts, but of course, it's not... it's much more. Having said that, it should not be burning out.... I've not had that (yet) with either 1.6 or 1.8ohm coils.
What ratio is your liquid?(PG/VG) because it won't wick over 50% VG fast enough if you are vaping it hard. What airflow setting are you using?

What I tend to do when changing these coils is to do it last thing at night so next morning they are well primed I vape them 30 seconds after fitting them. It's all in the priming. They can take a real soaking....

The only dry hit I ever had (not that it was bad, exactly) was using 50/50 liquid.... at 4.2v. I was so surprised, I did 3 or 4 massive pulls (no power) with my finger over the airhole (almost completely) and sucked in a decent amount of liquid. It would have dry hit again.... for sure... you get a feel for these things.
