yes, a decent tank, they should be reasonably cheap though? Dont pay over £10-11 unless you are in a rush.. ( £9 on fasttech) Many of us use them but we change the base for an airflow controller so the become an aerotank basically. I have one, its great! (with added airflow) but I've linked the older style airflow base as its polished same as tank. For aerotanks (which are brushed) you need V2 this one yes I am THAT fussy

I agree with Pepperty, with the airflow bases it's just as good as as my aerotank but cheaper . If you don't coil your self you can buy a unicoil (a microcoil with cotton wool wick that lasts much longer than the stock coils that you just replace the cotton wick). I find microcoils and cotton give a much better flabour as well. Lots of help on here if you want to learn to recoil these kanger tanks yourself.

I prefer the protank 2 with the airflow adaptor and a micro coiled Atty head.Tank and controller cheapest in uk is myepack about £11 for both. And either make your own microcoil or buy from virtual vape ( unicoil ) I use these more than my kayfun and rose rba.

Yip another +1 for igual I prefer the pt2 with airflow adaptor but it's still worth learning how to recoil and rewick them with cotton and it's much better than the standard heads. Works out at just over a quid or thereabouts for 50 premade coils from fasttech which should keep you going for a bit.

Got a 3 mini nothing but praise for it, but still trying to work out way of recoiling double coils, for the moment using FT clones that work fine.

MP Just single coil them and wallop an extra cotton flavour wick on top to fill the gap and the jobs a good 'un failing that you can always use the pt2 coils if you have any kicking about and just stick an extra grommet on the chimney to fill the gap. Either way works fine.

I'm sure someone on here has done a dual coil in them. Should be easy enough as long as you keep the legs straight. Good luck mart166 if it keeps you out of mischief it's worthwhile hah

dalealanThanks I've been ok at getting coils in place, resistance fine, just cannot get past leaking, i've tried extra wicks, small gaps large gaps, hitting with hammers screwdrivers etc, decided to try it with silica wicks then discovered i'd given it all away lol. But i'll crack it one year lol. MP

I've been using the iClear 30s Dual Coil Clearomizer 2.1ohm and thought they were good, Today my Protanks II came with 2.5 coils and so far they knock spots off the iClear, the Protank II seem to give much better flavour and a better throat hit, I recently started Lung hitting, with the iClear and thought it was good, but first toot with the Protank nearly blew the back of my throat out, I'm fine with it after just a few hours, I use it without the airflow adaptor even though I have one, I'll have to try it to see what the difference is,,

So can you get the Airflow Controller from anywhere in the UK and basically putting that one tge Protank will just basically make it in to a Aerotank? I havent got a clue about making my own coils and that I would just buy the Kangertech Coils for the Protank wouldn't no where to start ha.
