I'm going to the big Tesco Extra tomorrow morning at 6:30. I'm guessing it'll take me a good 20 mins to find a parking space at that time, judging by previous years. I'll be getting all the veg and bread, then head to the meat counter for when it opens at 8am to pick up the goose, then head straight to the checkout and escape the madness as quickly as I can. All presents have been bought and the majority wrapped already, last 5 to do tomorrow, then chill out until Christmas Eve when I have to start all the prep. The last thing I want to do on Christmas Day morning is peel spuds, carrots and parsnips! All being well you might be home by lunch time

They reckon today will be the busiest day. Which will be true as we ventured out to aldi to get our last bits. Actually wasn't that busy, but they were looking for parking spaces when we came out, so must have missed the rush.

I've put it off, and put it off. This has been the worst year for stress over what pressies to get the family. SO... tomorrow I'm going to have to go out and join the other lunatics. Anyone else in the same situation?Yes. I blame too much time on the forum(s)... and generally lazing about. Still, I know what I need to buy. A cuddly bear, his and hers matching luggage, scented candles, under-garments and a fondue set should take me all of 1 hr 38 minutes. Undergarments and a Fondue set!!! Sounds like a Classic Combo for an Interesting Night In!!!

And where's 'It's A Wonderful Life' this year on the telly, that usually gets me going. It was on yesterday or the day before, but all is not lost, Raffles, as it's on More4 4:10pm Christmas Eve or 5:10pm on the +1 channel.

In think I am really going to p-ss people off at my bank tomorow I have a huge jar that In have put change in up to a 5p piece. Reckon there is about £50 in it all in very small change. Bank at the NatWest and they have one of their two cash machines that you can pay coins in, going to take ages for the machine to count it!
That will pay for all the Christmas bits and pieces!

You should bag it all up in bank bags, then the bank/post office, only have to weigh it.

I would have been too, if I could have collected the goose any earlier... as it was, I had to queue for 10 mins just to get that! If it's been forgotten and I can't buy it at the local co-op, we're going without it!

Made quite a change going into Lidl, stocking up with 24 cans of ale, bottle of wine, and some quality beers, and not being stared at at the checkout

I am up at crazy hour again and wondering what I need to do today Hoping to be at my first Christmas Day Service tomorrow in years!!!! (see how strict a presbyterian I was LOL..... note was).....Dominic's preaching is just too good And it's forecast to be a bit nippy and they'll be no buses tomorrow. Equally little traffic for the xmas day service... I think I'm going to stick local and try and stay sane
