Maybe this goes against the grain but I've never been into cloud chasing and high or even moderately high watts. On average I vape about 7.5w on a 2.0ohm coil and am perfectly happy on this. For a lot of vapers I suspect this is true. They want the experience of smoking without the health risks It's going to end in tears - we all know that - but what's the attraction with killing yourself sub ohming?

If only boycotting would work in this situation. Totally irresponsible.

you built your kayfun at 0.4 ohms? do you not get dry hits haha Not a single one. It's all about how you wick your devices. Same as my Rose, although that one is only at 0.6 ohms (twisted 0.3mm Kanthal). I am absolutely sure most people are quite happy vaping around 1.6 - 2.4 Ohm resistances. But there are many who prefer to sub-ohm, and are sensible about it. I don't mind vaping above an Ohm, but when I'm setting up my rebuildables, I prefer to be around or just below 1 ohm. Drippers are different. I do like them to be very low ohm, and tailor my juice to suite (higher VG and lower Nic for less throat hit). To be honest, my MVP 2.0, while I love the device, has only been used once since I got it, as I haven't built a coil it's capable of firing since then. Same with my Vamo and SID. I should probably have a bit of a clear out really.

I just wick it like normal. Japanese cotton pads, cut off a small strip, then strip off a layer to make it thinner (or, to increase efficiency, once I have to of the small layers, I twist them together and use them), twist it, thread it through the coil, unwind it so it is quite stiff to move, then fluff out the ends. Cut the wick so it just rest on the deck, rather than piled on there, then build it up. Never had a problem doing it that way.
I vary my PG / VG also. Sometimes it's 35/65 (like when I know I'll be dripping to some degree, although I usually half my nic down to 6 also if I make a specific dripping juice. But my nic base is PG @ 72 mg/ml so for a 12 mg mix, I generally put in NO extra VG to get to this ratio), but recently I have been back up to 80/20. I have also made juices anywhere in between.

Xs2 I'm guessing your a mech user? Try 100w on regulated device whole different animal and is not pleasant to do it often at all but I should have specified i was talking in relation to regulated devices so I do apologise for that. One of my friends is a mech fanatic he has over 150 of them and vapes coils down to .15 was his lowest but when I gave him the sigelei 100w to try he quit at 90w and said he wouldn't go higher on that device despite saying in the past his mechs had hit 120+w so there is a big difference between mech and regulated but I'm not an engineer or technical enough to know what it is but I've heard a few mech users agree regulated is different. I really hate to call for bans on anything as our levels of satisfaction are as individual as we are and a good range of options is normally something I'd be shouting from the rooftops. I oppose these devices more for the shoddy quality and the fact that increasingly often the safety features are not working as they should to protect people using them, all that taken into account if vaping was under no legislative threat I'd probably go with buyer beware but right now I don't feel like handing out crates of ammo for the people that oppose us vaping.

Agree totally, and it seems really selfish of vendors, a) to put people at risk, and, b) to not care if, as a result of harm to people, vaping gets bad publicity, thus all the responsible vapers could ultimately get penalised. Vaping being the most safe, enjoyable and accessible to everyone is core. The only things that need regulating are irresponsible companies like this one!
