The most scary thing is the level of ignorance in the comments. I think the e-cig industry should first try and change public opinion before annoying them with ads.

The chances are the people that complained are mis informed to start with, and have no idea that smoking and vaping are two totally different things, and though not fully proven yet that vaping is safer it will still save lives, what makes me laugh is smoking adverts are banned yet in programs like East Enders you have the likes of Dot Cotton and a few others sparking up all the time, surely these programs are saying it's ok to smoke, everyone is banned from smoking in their workplace! isn't a film or studio set a workplace? perhaps all the vapers should send letters of complaint to ASA complaining the E/Cig ads have been banned, having said that! I've seen the ads and do feel they are a bit lame and could have been done better with a bit more information in them,,

You just couldnt make up it could you? A parody you couldnt invent more ridiculous from the liberal left controlled quango fairy land. E cigs dont promote tobacco it is probably the best and most effective method of getting smokers to quit tobacco products.

Its the authoritarian nanny state mentality gone mad, they wanted a ban and they hate vaping because it is a private small company led revolution that works while still giving people all the pleasure and satisfaction smokers loved.

Cant have that can we? The quango land thin lipped bullies dont like people doing stuff they enjoy, cant bear the fact that smokers got something better than smoking, cant bear the fact that it happened by bypassing the big nanny state monolith and they dont like being cut out of the process at all.

If it wasn't for vaping i know that i would be that much closer to a major lung operation cos i just couldn't kick needing nicotine.

But they think it is really ok to advertise cheap alcohol & encourage folk to not only kill or ill themselves with that, as well as killing & hurting innocent folk too, drink driving, drunken brawls or bashing wife, husband or kids. Oh & lets not forget the cost to any health service & the disgusting behaviour caused by cheap booze towards health care workers.
