I have a new Nautilus Mini, but it seems really hard to unscrew the base. It's fairly easy to screw the base on, but for some reason hard to unscrew. I know it's new, and I'm not tightening it like a gorilla, so wondered if this was normal.

It is. You have to develop the skill. Use the force, without using force, Luke.

Bobsbeer, I have the same problems. I screw the base on after refilling thinking to myself 'don't overtighten this Andy, or you'll have the devil's own job getting it off!'. I give it just enough to seal properly, and then indeed do have the devil's own job getting the bleddy thing off next time. As djs says, you just have to develop the knack!

At least I know I'm not alone, although I suspect my wife will not be using hers as she won't be able to open it to fill it.

I use a pair of rubber gloves to unscrew mine. Gives that extra bit of grip so my fingers don't slip. Works well.

It works well, but anybody with a feeble grip would be well and truly knackered. I think my Nautilus may be being consigned to the back of the cupboard as my equipment choices enlarge. Having said that once filled it gives a good vape.

Thanks smifee. followed your advice and now it unscrews easily. Tightened it up then turned it back slightly. I now ave 'the knack'
