Mixing e juice

Hi everyone,

I have bought some ready mixed juice from trueVAPE called "congress" tobacco flavour, what I ordered turned out to be 100% VG, I was wondering if I could mix this with some liquid I bought a while ago called "Diamond crystal VPG"

I do not see any problem in that... All it will affect is the percentage of PG and VP in your final juice. It has to do more with the ability of the extract to be diluted in different carriers...

Some extracts are better disolved/dilluted in PG, some others in a mix of PG/VG and quite a few in VG...

If you do not have any kind of tolerance with PG, it will be just fine...

Adding more base liquid will also weaken the flavour of the juice as you will be diluting the strength of the flavour.

1. What are you attempting to achieve?
2. What nic content is your trueVAPE juice?
3. What nic content is your Diamond crystal VPG?
3. What nic content are you aiming for?

I don't really know what I'm trying to achieve, it's more a case off trying to use these two juices to make something usable, my congress VG is 12mg and my Diamond crystal VPG is 24mg, somewhere around 12mg is what I am currently using.

VPG 24 is a unflavoured nicotine base. Mixing the two in equal quantities will give you a 18mg liquid 25% PG 75% VG with half the flavour.

So do I assume that you dont like the Congress? because all you will do by mixing those 2 will be:
1. Weaken the flavour
2. Increase the nic content
3. Alter the PG/VG ratio

Why not just buy yourself some concentrate and mix yourself a NEW flavour?

Best bet, is to get a 10 ML bottle (assuming you have one) and mix away. 50/50 to start. Vape it, and if it's too throaty (high PG), change the PG/VG for the next batch. Or if it's cloudy but tasteless, add more PG. Mixology is your friend.

I do like the congress after leaving it to steep for a few days, but I have found it is leaving a bit of a lingering smell in the house and having a bit of a search it seems that the 100% VG may be the reason.

Just noticed that you already have concentrates, why not just use them with your nic base

and then buy some more Congress juice, same nic as you already have but PG only based, mix them 50/50 and you'll have the same flavour/strength but PG50/50VG

Thanks "Q" you've come up with the perfect solution, do you think it will stop the smell lingering?

I've not noticed VG causing a smell BUT it will create more clouds, that could be what is happening.

What mods are you running now? I noticed you were looking to upgrade earlier this year

I did try a v/v but to be honest I have stayed with a simple set up of normal battery and kanger evod clearomizer, how about you?
