Can't beat either a Caravela or Nemesis from good ol' Fasttech - both clones of course, but great devices and if you get a "full set" you will get tubes to take every size of 18xxx batteries. Which incidentally you should source from this country, either Torchy or Ecolux on eBay do good prices and know their batteries really well. Good comms and delivery times too, although I find Ecolux a bit quicker down in the sticks! I still reckon you should consider an iStick for a backup though . . . . I'll get my coat! Am I right in thinking there both mechanical mods? Would I then not need something else to check resistance or something I remember reading (confused) No coat needed IMHO yes a nemisis and an istick for the money would be on my short list, you can get a "kick" to set wattage and safety against shorts. Both been massively tried and tested with no major flaws. spending someone's money has created a 4 page thread in 6hrs...!

Did we say istick yet?
Oh wait we did.
So heres the pitch - for £25 you will not get a dinkier device that fits incredibly easily in your pocket, goes up to 20w and feels so damned comfortable in the hand. The battery lasts me (a fairly heavy vaper) 2 days. What more are you looking for?
Its not quite a box - one side is tubular which makes it feel nicer in the hand. The button is nice and in the right place - it does what you want it to do - oh god its £25 for crying out loud - if and when it breaks after 6 months/a year just go and buy a new one.
I've been through pretty much the lot of low to mid end VV mods - the Vamo V2 is a nice device - I loved mine, but it does 15w at a push and its huge in 18650 configuration (as in its never going out of the house huge), in 18350 you'll need to take spare batteries to get through the day.
The Zmax has a one button menu system - it will annoy you - other than that its a Vamo with a slightly different looking tube.
Now my mods of choice are a pair of Vaporsharks - DNA30 for daytime/out of the home - RDNA30 for about the house/evening. They are fantastic little boxes. They also cost over £100 each. If I had my time again - and it was available when I bought the DNA30 - I'd have probably settled for a couple of isticks - yes they are that good and for the money there is nothing better.
Right I'll stop now - get an istick lol

What you on about dreamylittledream the vamo being 'too huge to take out of the house' - I've been taking my VTR out of the house for months!!! Stops most people dead in tracks and I need it for self defence! Fancy being assaulted with a VTR? Adds a whole new meaning to 'granny whacks assailant with a walking stick' LOL It's all about confidence. I am not ashamed I vape. If anything quite proud. I'm only on the MVP due to a sprained/carpal tunnel/whatever hand. It makes life a little easier Jane

Apart from coils and flavourings etc. it is my intention to spend nothing on vaping next year unless it's a replacement for something broken. Dave
