 Hmmm - the green ones are protected ICR's - I thought not good in mods, either regulated (duplication of protection) or mechs (oh my, a short, eek)

Tomj777 we haven't come up against any problems as of yet. You could always get the Aspire MOD, if you're looking for safety with our batteries.

How do you know if you need flat top or button top battery's coz reading the info on myepack and fast tech it gives sizes but not types

If you're thinking of a Vamo/Zmax, they take either c1booth.

Please, please, please don't think about stacking batteries c1booth. It's not necessary with the higher performance batteries, like the Sony VTC4's linked above and is just something else that can create risk for you.

I don't want to get into an argument. My ZMax came with 2 caps - one for 18650 the other for stacked 18350. Provided you use 18350s which have been paired from day one and alternate which one goes on top it is safe, probably safer than a cloned spinner and lots of members are happy buying cloned spinners.

Even a modest performance battery such as a Panasonic NCR18650B (built for capacity rather than performance) will power a Vamo or ZMax right up to 15 Watts and a high performance battery such as a VTC4 isn't going to give you any more power. It's not designed for a 15 Watt mod - it will work fine but it is more expensive and needs changing more often.

No arguments monty, most people just don't think it's sensible to do and is unnecessary... just because you can, doesn't mean you should

I had 5 variable voltage devices & 2 mechanical mods that take 18650 batteries. 3 Smok SIDs, 2 Provari 2.5s, a Mor Crann & a Cartel clone.

No way would I buy a device where I couldn't change the battery.

Then my wife got an iStick. The next day I got 3 more.

With a Nautilus Mini, recoiled heads, bending adaptor & in a case on a lanyard it's the best low faff vape we've had.

If they last 3 months I'll be buying more.
