Or perhaps not...
Just realised that virgin are another firm to use to use yodel for delivery. Order date -20 Dec, promised delivery date- 25 Dec (wonderful website coding there), promised delivery later via email 30 Dec. Expected delivery - 30 March.
Fair enough, it's a cruddyhub I don't need, but still upset that virgin promised an unfulfillable xmas day delivery, then yodel say 5 days later. Why not boxing day or the 27th?
The entrance to our apartment is right on the main road in the town, with well labelled buzzers, yet every delivery yodel has made to us has bee en returned to depot and reported as "unable to access property" except the last one that was left with a hairdresser and no card to say so.
If the delivery does not take place on the expected date, I guess it;'s time for me to tell virgin media to GTF. They may not run yodel, but they are stupid enough to give them delivery contracts, even though customers have outed their pathetic service many a time. Not expecting any joy, but may just result in some kind of good will gesture from virgin media who I previously respected if the delivery goes as expected due to prior experience.
Sorry for the rant, just REALLY pi$$ed that any reputable firm would use these cowboys for delivery when it is well known how bad they are.

I've been with them since they were cableinet, then when they were blueyonder and the fastest fibre speed was 512kb. Every year it goes up. Every year I call and say I'm leaving and every year I get a decent discount. I'm paying £22 now for 100mb broadband which is £33 to new customers. If I wanted to change I'd have to get a phone line put in for around £16 then pay for broadband on top. So I'm happy with that. When it ends I'll call up again. Call them up and go through to cancellations. Tell them BT or Sky have offered you a better deal.

will agree best thing i did was switch to Plusnet bit bumpy start when order got cocked up but has been stable for the first year we have had it, will add its quicker to moan on there forum there admins pick it up and get it sorted ,as for Yodel well thats rebranded DHL[Dont Haveit Lostit] a lot of Ebay sellers are dumping them and using DPD,i like them , they give you a time slot on tracking so no wasting having to wait all day for it
