Jules, I agree. In fact I would recommend them to everyone - maybe even newbies as long as they don't want something that looks like a real cig. No faffing with batteries or chargers so all anyone needs is some carts, juice & a few spare atomisers. Scylla, Tetsy meant post as in Royal Mail & the fact that I ordered my passthru on Saturday afternoon & it arrived Tuesday morning Alm, a passthru/through is a vaping device that is powered via a USB socket. Some of them still use a battery but you don't have to remember to recharge it as it is constantly being recharged whenever you plug it in & use it. (Lol sorry I know that's not very clear). The one I have bought from Garry Dibley www.e-cigcity.co.uk/epages/es1209....ies/Passthrough doesn't use a battery at all, so nothing to replace in it (apart from your atomisers of course). Have a look at Igetcha's video demonstrating it. Lol Tetsy, I emailed Garry yesterday re USB adapters & also gave him a link to this forum. I do know though that he doesn't have a lot of spare time to post on forums.

Tim, don't chuck it out. I'm still not certain whether it would work with my passthru or not. But even if it doesn't it may be useful to someone else :-) Ok. I'll keep it for a little while but its in my way on my desk.

OK Tim, I'll let you know as soon as I can. In the mean time, if it's of use to anyone else please let them have first dibs

Scylla, so sorry for confusing you - Chrissie is of course correct, when I suggested you would be green with envy of her post I did mean MAIL. Well done posties, I say.
I know the current postal disruption is all horribly inconvenient for us but I'd be very interested to know the details of exactly what they are being asked to accept that has caused their dispute - this never gets explained in any of the news reports I've seen. I suspect this probably means 'the management' are being totally unreasonable and if I knew the details I'd wholeheartedly support the strikers!
Sorry I haven't been in, lots of 'stuff' going on - I haven't forgotten that I owe you a PM Tim, please ofrgive the delay.

Scylla, so sorry for confusing you I'm just so thick these days As per blooming usual, I must be so in her debt by now. You're not the only one. I listened to a phone-in on 5Live, 3 postal workers were on it and I bet not one of them knew why they were on strike - at least, they couldn't explain it. They just seemed generally disgruntled and kept repeating "low morale". For many years I've been aghast at the destruction of our infrastructure and public services (and I know that's repeating myself), but these postal strikes are self-destructive, IMO, and causing so much harm to so many. And I'm not talking about my shortage of vaping supplies scylla

Lol Scylla, confession time, I thought the same thing as you to begin with & wondered which "post" of mine that Tetsy was referring to Tetsy, I hope the "stuff" going on is good stuff & not bad stuff

I keep meaning to try again, Chrissie. Did you get the USB/mains thing for your Dibley PT, and if so is it good?

No I've not got round to buying it yet. I was sort of still hoping to hear from Garry to see what he recommended first.

That's good to know, I've got the hub on my Watch List now, but in order to avoid the Wrath of Bro I'm not ordering it immediately - besides, I've got a USB memory stick very overdue from Hong Kong and a few other bits too - some things I've had sent to SO's address because there's no postal problem in W9.

Chrissie, could the hub be plugged into the mains and sit on the floor without being connected to a PC, and then the passthru be plugged into it? I can't quite figure out all those parts in the pictures. Actually, thinking again, I've just had a thought When I was trying to rescue my netbook I got a separate hard drive and plugged it in and it couldn't be recognised, and Bro said it was because my USB hub didn't have enough power... so that would be a good excuse to buy this one But I do have USB hubs coming out of my ear'oles scylla

Yes Scylla, that's exactly how I'm using the hub with my usb passthru. Just plugging the hub into the mains & my passthru plugged into one of the USB ports in it. No need for it to be connected to your PC.
