USB passthru car & wall socket adapters????

As my Garry Dibley passthru is winging it's way to me (ordered Saturday & got notification yesterday to say it had been dispatched). I want to buy an adapter to plug it into a mains socket & another one for the cigarette lighter socket in my car.

Could any of you recommend either/or please ?

I have a car charger Chrissie from that new e cig I got. I dont need it and if its any good to you you can have it. Its got what looks like a USB slot on it if thats what it is.
I havent gotta a car and I was thinking of chucking it into the bin. You'd save its life if its any good to you.

Well, seems that Tim has solved your car one - well done, Tim!

For the wall adaptor, search on "USB plug adaptor" in eBay to get a choice of, well, squillions of 'em. Start from 99p (free P&P) if you are willing to wait for it to arrive from Hong Kong but I spotted others which were in UK under £2.

For a little more (£4.49) you can get a four-port powered USB hub (I've got one) which can come in useful if you have other USB powered gadgets and have run out of slots on the computer!

I think Chrissie is looking for a plug adapter Jules like one that has the 3 pins at the front and 2 holes at the back thats take the pins on an American type plug. If Im wrong then Im sorry.

i think its what i showed shes after tim lol her passthrough needs a usb port and these things plug into the wall but also have a usb port so she dosent need to be at her pc to use her passthrough

The car charger I have also has a led light on it when charging and mines free inc p&p.
Theres a lil label on it that says
input:DC 12v - 24v
output: DC 5.0v + 5%
MAX: 500mA

Well it's arrived & I'm so pleased with it, lots of vapour & a good throat hit. So far I've only tried it via plugging it into a USB port on my lappy as I can't find my mains adapter for my USB hub.

It really is a bargain @ £14.99 including P&P, especially as unlike most commercially mad USB passthru's, Garry's doesn't need a battery.

Chrissie, one of TW forum members sent me one of these free because he didnt need it anymore kind fella , and yes it the best passthrough i have had and i have had two 901 passthroughs, one lasted 1 month which was 15.99 tother one was 19.99, so Garrys passthrough is a bargain if anyone is thinking of getting one it really does work a treat.

Tim, don't chuck it out. I'm still not certain whether it would work with my passthru or not. But even if it doesn't it may be useful to someone else :-)

Here's a quick thought Chrissie - why not drop Garry a line and ask him if the standard car charger like Tim's one is up to the job?

That's lost me on 2 levels, Tetsy (OK OK, easily done I know):

(1) Why will I be envious?

(2) Your green font has come out black, I only noticed it because of the HTML that showed up when I did Quote. There must be something in my Opera settings blocking it, the same happened when I did red ???
