Hi Peeps. Just call me old fashioned but what is the appeal, of producing `masses` of vapour.(cloud Chasing) Do you get more flavour, more throat hit, especially as many have to drop to a lower nic level. All I can confirm, that if I was joe-public a non vaper, I would be really annoyed to see masses of vapour clouds, bellowing out of a mouth. This cannot do the vaping community any favours to win over Joe-public, only strengthen the antz porogram, to stop vaping. Please correct me if I am writing "bo****ks".

It looks impressive though! I'm happy to sit on 1.5 ohms. Its the throat hit I need to keep me going

Sub-ohm and cloud chasing are different things, the first can be about flavour, not interested in the second, but if it's not done in public places I have no problem with how people get their enjoyment. Though it is concerning when people try extreme sub-ohming especially with mechs not knowing about battery safety, hopefully this group will be getting high power regulated mods with some degree of protection now they are more affordable and available.

Different strokes for different folks jeffc - vape and let vape. Anything can be done without courtesy, like the guy who brings left over fish pie to heat up in the microwave in the open plan office at work (stinky!) but that doesn't mean that no one should eat fish pie anywhere. For me, coils around 1 ohm float my boat, not that it matters too much in a regulated mod.

I sub-ohm for flavour. That's it.
I can get the same effect from a hana at 25/30watts, but you can't turn a mech up unless you use a kick. So I sub-ohm on a mech to get the same result.
Criticising sub-ohmers for doing what they do is wrong in my opinion, unless they go stupid.
The clouds I make are just a byproduct.
In the same vein sub-ohming on a 50watt vw mod is pointless.
The above are my opinions.
