I've just read the excellent post about legal status of ecigs throughout the world. I wondered if anyone has recently travelled through Singapore with theirs? I will be arriving there by ship and transferring to the airport for a flight to Bangkok. As I will only be transiting I'm hoping I'll get away with it. Not sure what I'd do if they confiscate my beloved isticks . I just can't go three days in Bangkok without anything. Hopefully someone will recently have been or know someone who has?

A anecdotal threads regarding Singapore. On the e-cigarette-forum, there's a dedicated Singaporean vapers area that is worth pursuing: www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/sg-vapers/ Personally, I'd pick up a couple of god-awful cig-a-like disposables to carry through security (note you are transferring so not going through customs) and not worry about loosing them. I wouldn't use the devices in the airport unless in a smoking room (they are, apparently, rather good) and you see others doing the same. In hold bags I'd put my lowest value / concern items. You're going to Bangkok so this might also be of interest (both forum and thread) www.thailandvapers.com/threads/singapore-airport-customs.5127/ -Tom (finally replying to the right thread)

You're welcome Good point on hold luggage - no spare lithium batteries - I'd tape the ends of those, keep in clear box and put through hand luggage. Everything else, hold luggage apart from an in use item. Just remember that it gets pretty cold there (I think) so full RBA's are probably a bad idea. Worth checking airline websites. This is what BA say regarding Lithium Batteries: www.britishairways.com/cms/global/pdfs/lithium_battery.pdf It occurs to me that under those rules, you are fine packing your three IPV2's, a VAMO, two VTR's and a 150W box mod into the hold, but the rules regarding a Mech are unclear, but if you really wanted to, you could install efuses into a bunch of Nemesis mech's and stick them in the hold.... I note that BA have a limit on the number of spare batteries (not more than four) - not sure about other airlines.

Thanks for that...I would only be taking my eleaf isticks...I don't know if they have lithium batteries inside or not? They obviously get sent all over the world from China by air in the hold so can't really see the difference ...however I wouldn't want to be responsible for blowing up the aircraft!!!

Tom the link to BA isn't working Curious. It's a link to an Adobe PDF file - try copying the link text and pasting into a browser. You will need to have a browser that displays PDF's or has an extension / plug-in that will do it for you.

padihoThis is the bit that concerns you : • Lithium batteries installed in equipment may be carried in checked-in (Hold) baggage.
