Yep, I got a lecture the other week at the vet's re Sandy's weight, I didn't bite my tongue though 

Mr K feeds the dogs in the morning so I now put out Sandy's food the night before so I know exactly how much he is getting.  When I got my old boy the kids were 6 and 14 so needed a lot of training about how to be around the dog etc.  I swear they were easier to train than Mr K
