Smok Sid and 18650 tube

I've got a Smok Sid that I'm not using with a evic 18650 extension tube kindly donated by markscuba.

The bad news is this only fires with some tanks and I'm not sure why. When it fires it works fine but it's very hit and miss what it likes. Maybe the centre pin isn't making contact or it's finicky with ohms but I've only ever used pre-coiled tanks with it so I don't know why that would make a difference.

Anyone who thinks they can figure it out is welcome to have it.

Could be up my street, this one. I have lots of SID and EVIC bits knocking around my box. Maybe I should have a go at sorting out it out and then PIF to somebody?

Having thought about it, maybe you should see if anyone else wants to try instead. I found my old kit and t.b.h. it probably makes more sense for me to try and get an old one passed on before taking another.

If somebody wants to shout, go for it.

If there's nobody keen, then, sure... let's see if we can make a few working ones using all the bits and pieces. (Maybe with all the tubes and what not, perhaps there's a stock of control heads somewhere out there in internet land.. ??? )

Half my problem is that (as my missus reminded me) a lot of my spare stuff is not even in this house, but in my Sister's garage.
