Hi guys,
I'm in the process of putting together a re-coiling kit. I'm very new to all this but I have an Eleaf Istick. Can the Istick be used for calculating the ohms of my coils or do I need a separate ohms tester to do the job? If I can use the Istick, how do I use it?
Also, if you someone could recommend a good/suitable blow torch to use I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
While I'm on the subject, the last things on my list are the wool and Kanthal. Any good deals you know of?
Thanks for the help! Great forum and great bunch of people!

mikemichelle I'd say best place to get Kanthal is stealthvape, get some 0.25 and 0.3. Secondly I wouldn't bother with a blowtorch, get yourself a Kuro coiler, really cheap from China or likely to soon be available in the UK. You can use an istick to check atty resistance but you need to fire the iStick to check the resistance, ok maybe if your a proficient coiler but as a beginner I'd recommend a stand alone resistance box, they are only about a tenner or again if not in a rush get them from FT along with the coiler.

I used to coil myself for evods/protanks but quite honestly the prebought ones from FT seem to work fine so no faff and cheap as chips, must admit coiling tool looks good. As for ohms I use an FT meter but have to say my istick agrees with it when I use them.

You can use Istick to check the ohms, just press up or down button instead of firing it.

Yes no doubt that would work but as above its so much less faff to use the likes of a Kuro coiler as it negates the need to torch at all which some say is not a good idea anyway.
