You can single coil the orchid V4 but you need to block the air port and juice channels with cotton wool on one side. The orchid V6 has a raised insert in the air ports so it is less fiddly to build one sided. If you buy a V6 you will need a needle bottle or blunt syringe for filling If your not going to dual coil it you'd be better buying something more suitable for single coils I agree, I was just answering a question

vaping on a kraken at the moment, new to me, remember I have not vaping long and playing catch up to many experienced here. Can throttle the air flow to how I like it and vaping it as I type, without doubt this is a contender and will have a duel coils next build.
Kayfun4 and orchid V6 both cleaned and ready to go but got to be honest Kayfun looks way over engineered and I can't be bothered with it at the moment. The orchid V6 still has it's guillotine wire cutting posts but should get done today before being launched out the window.

I'm still dithering as all my mods are small - and I don't like large tanks so I generally use protanks/silo lites/nautilus but feel I need to look into rebuildables more, to save my reliance on ready made coils. One of the reasons I sold on a few of my spheroids is by amassing so many it stopped me trying out alternative tanks so I've decided to try out the fogger mini, it looks decent and was cheap. I may regret my decision but its not going to break the bank if I hate the thing! I'm fine single coiling my drippers/ egrip base etc. so I'm hoping its all fairly simple famous last words.

I wouldn't worry Pepperty, once you get your coiling gizmo you'll be knocking them out like there's no tomorrow for all your atties

Guys, regarding Kayfun light and other rebuilds does anyone recommend lowering nic level when using them? I am sure I read it somewhere but want to check with your experiences.

Its drippers that some peps lower the Nic, not tanks, but I guess some do. You'll know if the Nic level is to high for you, as you'll feel quiet queasy and get a headache.

I think my kayfun lites have ruined me. I have finally got the hang of the two I have. I get occaisional leaking and dry hits but I am getting better with them My problem is I struggle now using anything else. My nauti minis, aerotanks, protanks (with and without AFC) & emow just aren’t cutting it in the flavour department. Is there any hope or am I destined to buy more kayfuns If the Kayfuns are cutting it for you then stick with em! I have thousands of pounds worth of atties here, I jumped on every next big thing as it was released but quite honestly the ONLY problem I personally had with the kayfun was the lack of access to the coil without draining the tank. I always found that the airflow adjusted well within my requirements and the build quality of genuine kayfuns rendered them durable. My tank of choice these days depends on the juice I'm vaping - Rose V2 - squape r - kayfun 4 are the main units I use but I will concede that the cheap as chips Kanger subtank rebuildable isn't too far behind in vape quality. But I say tank of choice meaning when I actually use tanks - because when I'm walking out the door I will grab a couple of e-grips with their rebuildable bases and they will serve me just fine. For pure flavour them kayfuns you have take some beating but if you want to take a perceived backwards step for something cheap and chearful then very soon they will be releasing a 22mm kanger subtank. That's where I would go

Thanks leroy4bz was sure the kayfun people said it, anyway have never had any queasy feeling or headache so long as I get a vape in. Different story if miss out for a few hours though.

Some tanks recommend lowering or halving normal nicotine strength, the GP spheroid being one as its so efficient at delivering a nicotine hit. I use them and haven't noticed much change but when I use my aspire atlantis and do a lung hit my heads all over the place!!

I'd see how you go firewall kayfun's are quite an intense vape for me so I find droping down to 12-15mg helpful. Still use 18-20mg in my kanger tanks

Thanks aliscampbell I have just bought a kayfun lite off Tom which works really well but is totally different to the mini PT2 I had been using till then. Now using the kayfun with juice kindly sent from Tom at 9mg and a aerotank with the normal 18mg. I think the kayfun gives a mouthful of flavour and the aerotank my hit! Then again it could be the excellent made Tom e liquid

Here's a cheer for the Taifun. It's the only atty that's been better than the 5 Kayfuns I have (lites and 3.1) in dual coil mode, having said that, at the moment the Squape is doing a great job on a dna40 with 0.2mm twisted pair nickel.

davetherayon I have a Taifun GT awaiting me at work from OneStopModShop @john2k5. I blame this forum for showing me all this stuff and twisting my arm to buy and try it. Its still cheaper than what I would have spent without thinking in days gone by.

I'm sure you'll love the Taifun firewall cracking atomiser and great juice capacity. For me, not a lot can beat the Fogger V4. Immense flavour and vapour for a tank, I've tried loads of atomisers, but the Fogger just seems to outperform them all for me. Never really got on with the Kayfuns personally, too tight a draw for me but I can see why people love them, easy build and a very decent vape. As for going back, not a chance reddragon, the only way is up now. Can't wait for the stock of Fogger V5's to arrive so that I can "test" one...
