Yes, I agree that it should be stated very clearly on the labels, and on the website, if they have one. It will soon no longer really affect me as I am moving towards being self sufficient with my own mixing.

qsplan I'm with you 100% especially your opening paragraph about family business . I only found out about ecigarettedepot's B&M shop through a mad search for some nic base and noticing his location on here. A couple of emails later and he had some nic base for me to pickup within the hour, although I couldn't make it until the next morning. I was told this wasn't a problem, I could pay for it on the site so it would put in with the orders and postage would be refunded over the counter when I picked it up. That was me won over. Ja

We do endeavour to insist that any new Vendors seeking registration on the forum, state what PG/VG ratio's are on their website for ready made eliquid . . . as it is important information.
It always surprises us that not all Vendors see this as a normal standard. ???

I don't believe that ratio is equated to quality but it does seem that most of the 'cheaper' liquids are PG heavy. No idea why this is, price? , flavour use?, less steeping? Non of the above really - its throat hit more than anything else. When vaping first started taking off a few years ago, all customers were interested in was more throat hit - a psychological thing which helped kick the cigs. Also, in the early days PG nicotine was a lot easier to source than VG and virtually all flavourings were carried in PG (most still are). I've moved from 70/30 to 50/50 myself, but I find anymore VG a bit too much.

I'm very much with Jason here, I liked the throat hit when I first took up vaping, it replicated the hit I got from smoking. But within 6 weeks I found I disliked the itchy scratchy sensation in my throat and started ordering lower pg mixes until I was 50/50 which suits me nicely! I'm still quite flexible with my pg/vg ratio and nicotine level. I self mix for around 10mg 50/50 but will vape anything between 6-12 as I'm still checking out flavours I like so I can down 10ml in any combo as a taster!

VapingBadI did a mix as near as I could to 100% PG (Nic was VG base and flavour was VG/PG). Even at 10 mins old it tasted better than my normal mix! Well done that man, many thanks for the idea. Jim
